double是动词,用double 比two times 简洁.

increase by two times有歧义，到底是原来的两倍还是三倍呢？ETS正确答案好像避免使用这种讲法的。

而且，double可以直接用主动表示，除非有明显的意思说明是被别人给double了，曾经看过一道题用 be doubled，但是很少见，主动较多
