4.10 独立写作Do you agree or disagree with the followingstatement? The advice from grandparents has no use for their grandchildrenbecause the world changed a lot during the past 5o years.
It has long been a phenomenon thatgrandchildren do not accept advice from their grandparents due to the rapid changeof the world during over 50 years. As it comes to me, I hold the view that, onthe contrary, grandchildren should better take the advice from theirgrandparents into consideration because the grandparents are experienced andkeeping step with the changing world and the laws of history of course neverchange too much. My view will be greatly substantiated by the followingdiscussions. To begin with, experienced grandparents’advice can prevent their grandchildrenfrom making mistakes and help them getting more and more closely to success.Only after the children tripped can some experience be valued a lot. Statisticsfrom Caring Youngster’s Growing up Organization shows that 78 percent teenagerschoose not to accept their grandparents’ advice and over 80 percent of whomregret to do so. Hence, since experience cannot be learned from books, treasurethe experienced grandparents and their valuable advice. Furthermore, there is no denying thatgrandparent’ changing keeps steps with the world, even more quickly. Old asthey are, grandparents’ speed of chasing the newest things cannot be despised. To set my grandfather as an example, it was in 1995 that I had my first touchon computer on a computer class. I felt so excited that I telephoned mygrandfather right after school only to know that he was writing a book with thenew bought computer. What really shocked me was that he had already opened thecomputer and fixed it himself. From then on, I realised that the change ofworld made everyong changing with it. Besides, changeable as the world are, lawsof it never change too much. It can be easily told that every dynasty had beendestroyed owing to poverty, starvation, wars and so on. So does the worldnowadays. It is human nature to fight for freedom, democracy and happiness. Andthat is just the advice grandparents suggest based on. Admittedly, someone mayquestion that grandparents are too old to change, that is the answer I state asabove. It is conceivable to draw a conclusion fromthe reasons showing above that advice from grandparent plays an important rolein grandchildren’s lives desipte of the change of the world during over 50years. |
