[讨论]多次遇到的考点“介词+having”结构，一致没有明确地答案，大家都来

先来引一道题

The results of the company’s cost- cutting measures are evident in its profits, which increased five percent during the first three months of this year after it fell over the last two years.

      A.      which increased five percent during the first three months of this year after it fell

B.       which had increased five percent during the first three months of this year after it had fallen

C.      which have increased five percent during the first three months of this year after falling

D.      with a five percent increase during the first three months of this year after falling

E.       with a five percent increase during the first three months of this year after having fallen

对于这道题的答案我想大家应该没有什么疑问了，我想说的是——单就E中after having fallen这一部分来讲，

因为句尾的是over the last two years.，这里用after+having done似乎和情理，但多次碰到这个考点发现基本很少正确

因而不清楚这里到底介词后面能不能加having done结构

另外  我们常认为介词后跟名词动名词   那么 类似于B中after it had fallen  即“介词+SVO”的结构是否成立？

虽然有over the last two years,但这之间有个this year 的increase，所以这里的fall这个动作并没有持续至今，所以也不能用现在完成时吧？

另外prep+SVO，应该不成立，介词后是不能有完整的主谓结构。能跟主谓结构的只能是连词。

这里after是连词，after falling相当于after the profit fell，因为主语相同，可以用分词简化。

介词后面只能跟名词或者动名词，如果后面直接出现ing，肯定不会是分词结构。只有一个例外就是独立主格比如with+n.+ing(-ed)。

并不是 over last 2 years就用完成时。如果说 over past two years 才可以完成时。

Last表示已经过去，past可以表示已经过去，也可以表示 从过去到现在。

这里over the last two years 最好不要用having been fallen/having fallen

因为 从 今年 开始 profit已经 increase了，也就是说 fell这个动作 在 现在 之前已结束。

而having表现不出是过去完成还是现在完成。其实我觉得 要用也应使用 过去完成进行时。it had been falling

突然想到，over the last ... years 应该用过去进行时吧。。。同意4楼的，over the past... years用完成时。

having done 或者have been done， 只可以作状语修饰语，修饰主句谓语动词。其他的主语，宾语，等名词性成分都不可。定语也不可 当然除了逗号隔开的非限定性定语从句。这是gmat的游戏规则
