我想请问下，during the 1980's , 后面的句子不是应该用完成时态么？ 为什么D对啊？

哎。。。为什么我发的帖子都没好心人回复呢。。。。
在网上找了些关于during的用法，可是很少有说的清楚的

还是没有明白during + 时间，何时用完成时态，何时用一般时态

朗文当代词典的解释是:

1.during, prep. all through a length of time. we didin't see a soul during the holidays. children were evacuated to the country during the war.
2.at some point in a period of time. henry died during the night. there will be one ten-minute interval during the performance.

用完成时和一般过去时还是有细微的区别
比如during the last five years, i was good at my work.和during the last five years, i have been good at work.
后者有种在时间节点就完成了行为且不延续至今的意思。

我想起og里的一题

答案是C 选have increased是为了和后面的fall over有一个前后的先后顺序

所以during后面具体怎么用还是要看具体的题目 像lz举例的这题 没有明确表示在某段时间需要完成的某件事情。
至于A，按照主动优先原则应该可以排除把

然后这里是不是还有考个形式主语it指代that从句，倒装？

我觉得不是it形式主语的问题

it is estimated that A do  在GMAT看来，是不如A is estimated to do sth 简洁的

所以我当时选A的时候也是考虑到这一点的
