In modern society, people in growing number attach great significant to the knowledge which students grasp from school and tend to neglect fostering youngsters' confidences, because they believe the knowledge rather than confidence plays a vital role in one's career development and success. However, they fail to take into account that confidence is also an indispensable aspect on one's success. Also, the knowledge can be made up with after you graduate. In contrast, if teachers don't cultivate teenagers' confidence in their formative period, this deficiency may be irreversible. Therefore, I argue that it is more crucial for teachers to enable students become self-assured than impart knowledge.

First and foremost, there is no denying that confidence is superior to knowledge which we learn in high school or university. It is not uncommon that we are not engaged in the subject we majored in university. A recent survey conducted by Peking University indicates that a great percentage of college students are not occupied in their university majors. Thus, the professional skills people learn from the school may only have limit effect on their future. In stark contrast to, the confidence people obtain from school accomplishes with them forever. I would be hard-pressed to imagine that a person who lacks confidence is able to be distinguished in fierce competition of modern society. So we cannot emphasize the significant of confidence in schooling too much.

Further, unlike the knowledge, it is arduous to establish confidence after people graduate. If teachers ignore to encourage students and build their confidence, the confidence can be lost forever. For instance, a friend of mine is excellent in academic while he is not assertive because his primary teacher is too strict to him and always criticizes on him. His deficiency in confidence makes a number of precious opportunities slip away. We try a wide variety of methods to help him to recover his confidence, but all turn out to be in vain. For sake of fostering confidence, teachers are supposed to not only impart knowledge but also place considerable emphasis on encouraging students in class.

Last but not least, it is wide acknowledged that the confidence is the cornerstone of creativity, which plays an important role in modern society. Without creativity, the society cannot make such extraordinary progress. Only if possessing confidence will a person make a splash in invention. Otherwise, few novel inventions will be made because people are fear of failure and reluctant to take risks. But people with confidence are willing to face difficulties. Therefore, it is definitely easier to come up with novel theories.

All in all, confidence is especially essential in modern society, not only because it promotes one's well-rounded development but because it motivates and inspires society to move forwards. Therefore, it is the obligation for teacher to focus more on youngsters' confidence than imparting knowledge.

In modern society, parenting plays a significant role in youngsters' characters. Therefore, the issue that whether it is much more arduous for parents to discipline their children nowadays has caused wide concern. A number of people argue that because new generation still attaches great respect to their parents, it is not difficult to control the teenagers today. However, these people fail to take into account of the rapid transformation of modern society, which makes it impossible for parents to control their children as easily as in the past. Therefore, I agree with the statement that parents have more difficulties in control their children in modern society.

First and foremost, there is no denying that the educational system has made extraordinary progress so that youngsters in growing number are capable of receiving high-quality schooling. It is not uncommon that the schools place considerable emphasis on one's independence, which exerts positive effects on teenagers' future life. Therefore, children are more likely to be instilled such code of conduct, which results in the troubles when parents want to control their children.

Further, along with the dramatic development of modern science and technology, teenagers can obtain the information of the world without efforts. By opening the television or surfing the Internet, teenagers can interact with outside world, which also enables children raise the awareness of their independence. In stark contrast to, people had a narrow mind towards their life because being totally cut off from the outside world in the past, which makes them live under the illusion that whatever parents instruct is right and is supposed to be followed. It is definitely easier to control children in the old days.

Last but not least, society tends to prevent parents from controlling their children due to the adverse effects and is in favor of children’s independence, which also exerts profound influence on children’s perspective about independence. A recent survey conducted by Peking University indicates the more parents control their children, the less creative children will be. For sake of youngsters' well-rounded development, legislation proscribes parents to use violence to force children obey their instruction. Also, the mainstream of citizens and authorities put a strain on those dictatorial parents, asking them to respect the right of children. What’s more, children under this protection are more likely to disobey and challenge their parents’ authority. Therefore, under such environment parents are bound to experience great resistance when they want to control their children.

All in all, admittedly, youngsters still respect their parents as much as before. However, it does not equate that parents can discipline as readily as before. Because of the changes of modern society, much more obstacles are placed in front of parents when they want to control their children.

这一段的逻辑我有点没理解,是因为学校不重视独立性的教育,所以导致家长失去对孩子的控制吗?为什么孩子没有独立性,家长就会控制不了呢?我觉得可以再解释清楚一点,举个例子就更好了

In modern society, people in growing number(你的最爱) are always confronted with myriad of issues which remain to be handled. A great percentage of people prefer to deal with various tasks at the same time with the help of the state-and(of)-the-art equipment, such as computer, internet and so on. However, they fail to take into account the limit of people's energy which restricts the number of problems you can resolve simultaneously. Therefore, I am in favor of doing few things one time in order to accomplish the assignments well, which has been substantiated by persuasive evidences.

First and foremost, there is no denying that the few assignments you (加are) working on, the more efficient you are. The reason why you can be more productive when doing few works is that it enables you thoroughly concentrate on your assignments. When you (加are)dealing different works, you (your)attention may be distracted. A recent survey conducted by Peking University indicates that working on few assignments is less time-consuming compared with working on several different assignments in term of the time spending on individual assignment. How can a person switch the mind between math and literature efficiently?

Further, working on few assignments also contributes to high quality. It is widely acknowledged that when working on few works, you may be more careful, which exerts positive impact on one's work. In contrast, dealing ()加with)numerous works simultaneously will lead to a number of mistakes. Worse ever, you may confuse(be confused with) the different assignments. For instance, if I work on math and biology at the same time, I will use the knowledge of math to do the biological assignments, which is bound to results in poor quality.

Last but not least, working on few tasks at a time plays an essential role in creativity of the task. Society nowadays places considerable emphasis on originality. However, dealing myriad of assignments makes you exhausted. I would be hard-expressed (有这用法吗?)to imagine that the(the people 是民族了) people without energy can create something novel. In contrast, people who dedicate in one task are more likely to accomplish assignments creatively. For instance, Jobs who only engage in the electronic products produces a wide range of original commodities.

All in all, admittedly, the advanced technology enables us work on different tasks at the same time(你这句话前面没解释,就突然蹦出来,最好在这句话后面在加几句说明或者前面有个铺垫,不然很突兀). However, for the sake of accomplishing assignments flawlessly, we are supposed to do few things simultaneously.

总体来说,我有预感你作文分会很高,再接再厉!注意语法和小错误。

In modern society, along with the proliferation of the television, people almost acquire knowledge and information from the TV program instead of newspaper. But the issue is whether the television can totally replace the newspaper and offer people with sufficient information of world event. Perhaps no! The newspaper has its own advantages, which make newspaper become a more reliable resource for truly understanding the world news.

First and foremost, compared with television, newspaper tends to be more professional in providing information. There is no denying that the editors of newspaper are the experts in world event. Therefore, the newspaper can analyse the world event more deeply and thoroughly. In stark contrast to newspaper, the television prefers to just display the news without careful analysis. Sometimes, it is too absurd for audiences to fully comprehend the world event. For instance, if you don't know the background of one country, it is impossible for you to understand the event happens in its field. The newspaper actually offers you such knowledge, which promotes your grasp of the world event.

Further, it is widely acknowledged that the newspaper provides well-rounded news about world events including politics, economy, art and science. For instance, The New York Times, it contains not only the daily political events take place all over the world but also includes importance breakthrough in science, the significant economic issues and even the famous performances. On the contrary, it is arduous for television to reach to such extend. What displays on television always focuses on one field. Thus, watching television to obtain a well-rounded understanding of world event seems impossible. Further, you can look through the world event efficiently because by reading the title you can obtain almost information. However, when you watch television you have to watch the integrate program in order to be informed of the latest news.

Last but not least, the newspaper is more objective and balance than television. Taking China for example, the television is being controlled or restricted by government, having finite independence. So the reports are definitely biased in some extent. While the print media has more independence compared with the television. Many newspapers are private, which have no relation to the government, which guarantees that the press reports news objectively.

All in all, admittedly, the television offers us more vivid imagine of the world event- we can see the vivid pictures and live videos about the world event and listen to reporter's coverage. However, the advantages of the newspaper should not be ignored, which makes it distinguished from the television. So, it is wise and efficient to read newspaper to gain the thorough understanding of world event.
