我们先看fire alarm box是什么？
——火灾报警器——你按一下，消防人员知道报警器所在的地方发生了火灾——它给人的ability to report a fire是告诉消防人员火灾地点

A选项可以追踪私人电话并知道是从哪打来的的作用是
——1. 减少恶作剧，因为知道是谁打来的所以大家不会虚假报告火灾（fire alarn box任何人都可以按所以不知道是谁报警的）
——2.可以知道哪个地方起火了，所以没有降低people的ability to report fire

这题做OG的时候错了，把答案看了很久，然后就理清思路了。谁知道做GWD也有这题，毅然决然秒选了A，居然错···

精彩解答，明白了。
实际上A选项是最好的。同时满足结论的两方面。
而另外一个受争议选项，只是说明了他没有削弱报警火灾的能力。

同意。。并补充：
After the removing---the proposal---everyone will use private phone to make an alarm. So the statement= Alarm via private phone won't hamper people's ability to report a fire compared to alarm boxes. 所以选项一定是围绕 private phone报警的好处考虑的！！！如果能trace的话，就能达到alarm box的好处--知道火警地点；又能避免 alarm box 的坏处---恶作剧报警。

我觉得这题不绕，大家做错的原因就是没找对结论，我一开始也选的D，原因就是D可以加强取消boxes 的这项措施，但是，不妨碍大家报警的结论却没有考虑进去，这就是错误所在，A是最好的！~ OG答案也是A

亲，答案是A，不是C啊~OG的答案是A，即便我自己当时也是选择的C，我也不是很清楚为什么是A不是C

the reasoning question should depend on the cause and effect
and C gives us differences between the two ways
