今天在芝加哥做完了interview，有几点和大家分享一下

1：一定要带上你的resume。

2：空调温度很高，高到可以穿短袖。注意穿着，不要面试时搞得满头大汗

3：如果你从I-90/94去校园，记得一定要走local loop,而不是express lane

签到时,我还没开口,接待人员就叫出了我的名字,至今纳闷她是怎么认出我来的?

btw: office里有个亚洲mm很是pp，惊为天人， 呵呵。

想问个具体操作上面的问题。

因为签证的原因，我在国外有一年没有工作。最近刚刚找到一个工作，工作经验上要把这个写上嘛？ 我申请的学校中有个只要求说明responsibilities of current job.  我怎么说呀？刚刚才开始。 在这栏里面填之前那个好像有不大好。 等到几个月后，熟悉起来了再写， 就怕连second run 都过了。

不写的话， 好像我又一直失业似的。 不知道怎么操作才最妥当？

Usually, I suggest you not to complicate your case by adding a short and insignificant work experience. Your situation is sort of not quite desirable to most MBA programs. You need to dig out a way to explain why are you willing to stay in US for a whole year without working.

I guess you are on your F2 visa? A wife of a Chicago MBA, who also accompanied her husband in Chicago for one year, got admitted at Chicago GSB. However, I am not sure how representative her case is.

谢谢。  我也觉得解释起来好像很复杂。  不过将来面试的时候， 就没有必要刻意隐瞒了吧？毕竟这个工作跟我以前的工作有很强的相关性， 也包括目前一个短期的国外培训。

是的。因为如果落到纸面，解释非常麻烦。而面试时，你可以说是在申请工作完成后最近才上班的。

skypacer, 我在准备芝加哥的essays，其中有一个题目是关于海德park校区的，请您指点一下，这道题目，gsb是纯粹要考察学生的写作能力么？我们不可能有机会去参观这个校区，网上也没有太多的资料，不知道从哪里下笔呢。
