Hi skypacerzhou,

you are such a nice person who is willing to share your knowledge with others.

I just finished my AT test , and got 700. I have 5 years working experience in dealing room (Deutsche bank and SMBC). When I studied the school information from businessweek, I found that GSB has a wide range of GMAT score, unlike NYU, whose range is only 30~40 points. Does that mean GSB will consider more other than GMAT?

And another question, I notice there are 2 essays which I felt a little confuse...

2. Chicago GSB is seeking a mascot to represent our new facility, The Hyde Park Center, what would your choice be and how will it represent the attributes of Chicago GSB? (500 words maximum):

3. If you could step into any celebrities shoes for a day, who would it be and why

Can you share your opinion about these 2 questions? GSB is one of several B school who have such kind of creative essays. Dose school try to found some specific charactoristics from those essays?

I got this mail this morning when I got up and turned on my Notebook, I think it must be a bad news about waiving my interview......Anyone got the same email as me.?

Also, please give me any advice what I should do nest step. To ask GSB give me another chance, or to prepare well my essays...

Thank you for your request for an off-campus interview.  As you may know, alumni of the Chicago GSB usually conduct our off-campus interviews.  We are unable to find an alumnus to interview you.  Therefore we are waiving your interview without penalty.

We will make note in your application that you asked for an interview and that we were not able to provide someone with whom you could meet.  lease be assured that this situation will not in any way have a negative affect on your application.  We admit many applicants without an interview.

It is possible that after the admissions committee reviews your application, we may suggest that you have an evaluative interview.  If this is the case, we will offer you either an on-campus or phone interview.
Once again, we do appreciate your interest in our program, and look forward to reviewing your application.
