Folks, please accept my personal weclome to join the awsome community of the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business! I am initiating this thread for the purpose of:
1) spreading the genuine information Chicago GSB.
2) answering questions regarding your application to MBA program @ Chicago GSB
3) offer my personal opinion about your application to any of the business schools.
I was a class2003 MBA from Chicago GSB and now managing several kindergartens at Shanghai and its sattelite cities. In the spare time, I am pretty much fond of helping applicants with their attempts at the top MBA programs.
As far as I observed, many of the applicants are tyros. A rushed-up application without help from seasoned professionals is gonna hurt you. As an applicant, it's to your strategic benefits to stretch out for assistance of all kinds. But certainly one thing is very important, never be too shy to ask questions. I, together with my friends from Chicago and other top MBA programs, will strive to offer you a reply as accurate as it could be. I did saw a lot of misleading information in this forum, and that partly explains why I am taking a position here.
With the charisma of Edward Snyder and the introduction of brand new garden-like business school new building, I anticipate Chicago GSB will maintain the current momentum on various rankings in the years to come, and here I once again extend my personal welcome to you and cordially invite you to have a try at this great school. Remember, I am here to help you with your specific questions about the application, its faculty, its all-elective curriculum buildup and even the life at the lakeshore front at Chicago.
Let's get roll & rock it!
