I'm a first-year at Chicago GSB.

Most people on campus tours I see are in suits. I personally don't think it's necessary (business casual will do), but if you feel uncomfortable being different, you can choose formal, too.

For everyone applying for MBA, I guess you have to pick up a goal first and then prove its feasibility. I was no different from that stereotype. But since I only speak passionately when I speak my heart, so what I am doing after graduation is consistent with what I said in my essays four years ago. But I guess most MBAs changed their ideas during their studies.

As to your second question, I think GSB is just like any other top MBA programs: it really inspire you to aim high.

Also, is there any difference between on-campus interview and off-campus interview? which one is better?

I would suggest you choose up to two (those that fit your professional goals most)--you can always change when you are in.

Interviews...I've not done an on-campus interview (with adcom), so don't know the subtle differences...As far as I can tell, at off-campus interviews you usually meet with alums, who may offer you with more personal insights on the school, whereas admissions officers tend to provide more "standardized" info.

想起上次参加芝大校友的答疑活动, 有人问到这个问题, 他们的意见是最好见 ADCOM, 他们的原话是: 校友面试,认为你好, 你不一定能进;觉得你不好,你是一定不能进的;但ADCOM如果觉得你好,会有很大的决定权.

我已经约了面试, 等待回复中.....
