在GSB网上试过申请面试,可是没成功,就给学校发了邮件询问了一下,结果得到回复说要waive 我的interview, 并承诺不会对申请造成影响.可是又听不少人说最好有interview,不知道大家意见如何?学校已经告诉我决定waive 了,我再非要去schedule 一个,可能不大好吧?

有老鹰那个是整个大学的校徽啊, 我也不知道什么意思. 吉祥物那题, 你就当why Chicago理解吧.

如果学校给WAIVE面试, 其实也没什么不好的, 省下来的时间可以花在ESSAY上,不用多虑.

Quality of the same course varies a lot from professor to professor. Good ones are well worth the points. However, you won't have enough points to cover all the best professors. So plan ahead and decide early in the year that which professor and in which quarter you are going to blow your points on. For the three basic classes, the quality of teaching for most professors is fairly good. And you might not want to waste your points on the basics.

what does it mean here by points? everybody is given some points and then they can use th points to get priority in bidding some popular courses?
