谢谢你的回复，网上提交的字数限制肯定是有的，我另外一个推荐人也说碰到过，如果没达到最少字数就无法提交。问题是我现在不知道到底要写多少字才够

我的成绩单已经一早寄过去了，如果用Hardcopy，我怕申请资料不在一个package里，adcom会觉得很麻烦。再说明天就是deadline了，现在寄出去也要过两天才到，还不如想办法在网上填掉呢

我想问的是，Duke在这方面灵活吗？有的学校申请材料晚到几天是不要紧的，仍然算这一轮。我主要是想不要因为推荐信的delay造成整个申请的滞后

First of all, I would get the hard copy to Duke as fast as possible, at the same time continue to try to get it in online. Also send an email to the Admissions Office explaning the situation. I'm not sure how they would handle this case, but it wouldn't hurt you to show them that you tried you best.

The deadline for interview for those who applied in round one is November 16. Is it by invitation only? I submitted my application ten days before the deadline,however, I have not recieved any information from duke, even a confirm letter. What shoud I do? just wait? I'd like to have your views. Many thanks!

I submitted my application on 10/25, but didn't get any confirmation email either.  I called admission office and a lady told me that they will send out the confirmation email and contact information regarding interview after the deadline (11/1). The interview is not invitation only. You have request the on campus interview or alumni interview in the application form.

谢谢Duke2006和Kevin_8p的指点，问题基本解决了，在这里和各位简单分享一下，希望可以作为第二轮申请者的小小经验：

首先是我发了一个off-line的推荐表给推荐人，让他打印出来填写，和推荐信的hardcopy一起用DHL直接送去美国；

然后我打Admission Office的电话问，接线的小姐说这种情况一般是不要紧的，收到hardcopy就可以了，然后给了我一个email地址，是applyyourself.com的，说可以写信去确认一下；

接下来我就写信，讲一遍大致的情况，询问网站工作人员能否取消在线推荐状态；

大概10分钟后就收到回信, 网站告知该推荐人的在线推荐已经取消;

上申请网站确认后,我再给Admission Office发邮件，请他们注意查收hardcopy

今天收到Admission Office的回信说会做相应处理，总算摆平了

I have not submitted the application yet, but I already scheduled a campus interview.  My question is whether I should submit part of application form online such as resume before interview.  I did not get the infomation from Duke website.  Thanks.

The Fuqua campus interview is great, but the international interview process is not so good!

But don't worry about the confirmation letter. Fuqua will contact you when they want to interview you. To make sure, you can send an email to the admission office to confirm whether you need to do anything about the interview or just wait for invitation.

There are several Fuqua alumni in Beijing and Shanghai, so it is very likely that you can get a face-to-face alumni interview opportunity if you are qualified.

Next Wednesday, Liz, the Associate Dean of Admission, will invite international students for lunch to hear our feedback about life in Fuqua. I will attend and I will advise her to modify the interview process in China. I hope they can send some admission committee staff to China to conduct interviews because China is the biggest source of international students. I am not sure about whether my words will work, but I will try.

Just called the admission office again. They are going to send out email regarding interview information(alumni interview) on this Friday or next monday.

再请DUKE2005和各位帮忙, 我问过DUKE ADMISSION, TRANSCRIP REQUEST FORM是不需要的, 那么是不是意味着GPA也不要求算? 还是需要自己算并在申请中说明?
