再请DUKE2005和各位帮忙, 我问过DUKE ADMISSION, TRANSCRIP REQUEST FORM是不需要的, 那么是不是意味着GPA也不要求算? 还是需要自己算并在申请中说明?

The online application forms will require you to fill your GPA. If your GPA is not calculated on your transcript, just calculate it by yourself accordingly.

a question about essay: the last topic is about "fuqua team" . i am not sure whether it is a term which has special meaning  or just means the team work spirit of duke? how to interpret it?

"Team Fuqua" is the slogan of Duke MBA Program. It emphasizes the team spirit. Please go to previous pages to know more.

Just called the admission office again. They are going to send out email regarding interview information(alumni interview) on this Friday or next monday.

Just received a mail sent by Fuqua Adcom on Saturday:

Thank you for your interest in the Fuqua School of Business.  We have
received your application for admission, along with a request for an
alumni interview in China.  I am writing to inform you that I am still
working to accommodate everyone's requests for alumni interviews.

Due to a limited number of alumni interviewers, I may not be able to
accommodate all of your requests.  If I am not, please do not worry or
panic.  We do not require the interview for admission.

如果象上面的姐姐说的那样，是不是意味着Duke已经不太倾向于给我面试了，信中说还在安排只是一种委婉的托词呢？如果没有得到面试机会，最后被录取的可能是不是很低？

I don't think it is necessary. You will have statistics as a required course in Fuqua. But it's up to you. It doesn't hurt if you want to tell them.

Thanks. Then may I know what happened to you last year finally? Being interviewed or not? What I am worrying about is that if I can not get the opportunity, my chance of being admitted will be little compared with those being interviewed.

Just to add a data point, I know an international student here that was admitted without an interview because the admissions office just couldn't arrange one.
