哪里有lawyer,哪里的讨论就巨长。这说明lawyer的号召力还是大家怀疑lawyer的论断?

哈哈,lawyerGG的帖基本都是真理,大多数情况下是找来看了,被说服了,OK,一题解决了。不过难得有和大家意见不一样的时候,众人就要拼命试图说服他嘛~而这个,基本,比较难。。。

不过老实说,这题我也选C。搞不清里面的化学原理什么的,但我觉得做逻辑,题目说什么就是什么了,白痴头脑还挺管用

A肯定不对。注意A的前提条件:When an olive oil is refined。而原文整个的推理都是关于unrefined olive oil的,A明显无关。

支持C。

虽然我狂崇拜lawyerNN,但是这道题目实在不能把A作为正确答案

我就认定C了,或许A与C就是我和N人的差距吧,认命了!

个人理解

这题的争议点在与The quality of unrefined olive oil is not actually defined in terms of acidity, yet extensive tests have shown that the less free oleic acid an unrefined olive oil

contains per liter, the higher its quality.  The proportion of free oleic acid that an olive oil contains is an accurate measure of the oil's acidity.中最后一句的 The proportion of

free oleic acid that an olive oil contains is an accurate measure of the oil's acidity.在全文中的作用的理解。如果把这句话看为对于第二句的补充说明,则是c选项,

强调第二句的the less the higher。如果理解成为结论句,则强调unrefine和refine区别,lawyer的理由选A就正确。

结论是:题目出的不好。

大家都在讨论A和C,可是我对E有疑问?(不要砸砖过来)

1.The quality of unrefined olive oil is not actually defined in terms of acidity (unrefined olive oil 的质量不能由acidity决定)

2. yet extensive tests have shown that the less free oleic acid an unrefined olive oil contains per liter, the higher its quality. (  free oleic acid越少,unrefined olive oil 的质量越高。)

3.The proportion of free oleic acid that an olive oil contains is an accurate measure of the oil’s acidity.(olive oil 所含的free oleic acid的比例是oil’s acidity的精确衡量。

即:本来unrefined olive oil 的质量不能由acidity决定,却可以由 free oleic acid含量决定,而 free oleic acid精确衡量oil’s acidity。

所以其实unrefined olive oil 的质量可以acidity来判断。

E中

People who judge the quality of unrefined olive oils actually judge those oils by their acidity, which the judges can taste.前半句我觉得精确的说出了结论,问题是不是出在 后半句judges can taste呢?因为我觉得E的前半句把结论说的比C更加清楚和明确。

如果E错的话那只能是C对了,因为C也体现了unrefined olive oil 的质量和acidity的关系。只不过觉得好像没有E说的直白。

请NN们再指教一下E的错误吧,尤其是lawyerNN,个人愚见A是肯定错的。

When an olive oil is refined, the concentration of oleic acid in the oil is reduced。

其中1)全文其实一直讲的是unrefined olive oil ,A中说

When an olive oil is refined应该是无关。

    2)一道逻辑题目应该不用化学知识来解答吧,毕竟美国人还是比较弱的。

讨论帖子没有看完最后实在没精力看下去了,这道题我支持C

理由如下:这道题目是支持结论型的,只要选直接支持结论那一项即可.

题目的结论是:The quality of unrefined olive oil is not actually defined in terms of acidity, yet extensive tests have shown that the less free oleic acid an unrefined olive oil contains per liter, the higher its quality.

就是说unrefined olive oil的质量不能很精确的通过acidity来定义,然而大量的实验证明the less free oleic acid an unrefined olive oil contains , the higher its quality.

我对这句话的理解为,acidity不可以很精确的实在的衡量the quality of unrefined olive oil但是可以大概的衡量.那么C选项说的就很正确了.

 If an unrefined olive oil is intermediate in acidity between two other unrefined olive oils, it will also be intermediate between them in quality.

直接就是支持结论的,不是说质量直接跟acidity的关系,而是说了一个大概的,在什么和什么之间.
