我check了我的电邮, 发信给我的是Lilia Santiague, 我不知道她是谁.

其实很多学校的MIS里都有老印的影子. 如果那个department的老印特多, 那里的phd学生小印就特多. 除了Maryland, purdue也是个例子. 那里的小印phd学生一堆....听我教授说, 老印教授是特别回印度的IIT招人回美谂phd的....就是自己人照顾自己人....可恶

我也申请了Maryland，没任何消息，也没抱任何希望。你要急的话，打电话去问是最好的，Email并不总是管用的，电话好一点，只要有人接起来，总能搞到点消息的。


其实钱是研究生院收的，事情却是系里做的，这和国内的某些制度倒有些相似，收了钱不办事也就可以理解了。

真是奇怪，马里兰算是我申请的学校中比较热心的一个，寄了封信说材料都收到了。其他学校干脆说：材料齐了自然会受理的。不要发email或打电话查，没功夫。

不知道，我收到的是一封很短的信，估计是电脑产生的，就说申请材料都收到了，是研究生院发来的。没有特别的人的落款。
