[0530-独立]The best way to truly relax and reduce stress is to spend time alone When it comes to the discussion of how to relax and reduce stress, some people would like to spend time with their friends while others prefer to spending time alone. As for me, I would choose the way of spending time alone to truly relax myself for following reasons.
To start with, spending time alone means I can choose the thing I really want to do. When many people group together to talk about what we will do to have fun, it is also a terrible experience for me because everyone has his own preference. It always takes a long time to make the final decision and there are always some disappointments. This circumstance oppositely adds the stress. However if there is only one person, I can choose whatever I want without considering others' opinions. For example, I prefer watch romantic movies for my spare time but some of my friends prefer science fictions. It will take us a long time to decide which film to watch every time we group together and the process is filled of compromise. If I can spend time alone, there will be no this kind of problem.
Secondly, having time alone can ensure I have a quiet place to have rest. During my daily life, I often feel tired and just want to have a sleep. However, it is sometimes noisy if I am with other people. I really hope to have some private space to sleep or just do nothing. At the same time, I need to keep away from the Internet. With the development of high technology, we can communicate easily without stepping out our living room. However, the information on the Internet sometimes just bothers us. What impressed most is the terrorism affairs. I am not saying that I have no concerns about the world but I really want to be alone without any disturbance from the outside.
In the last place, as far as I am concerned, thinking is the most important thing we need to know and do in our whole life. It is true that we can have deep thinking even through the surrounding atmosphere is chaotic, however it is better if we can have some silent time to recollect what we have done in the past. The thinking process is the best way of relax.One of my favorite books is an autobiography written by Haruki. The name of the book is what I am thinking when I am running. After reading the book, I acquired that the best way of relaxing and making progress is spending some time alone and doing something that you are really into. So I just follow the way of the writer---- running everyday. During the running time, I think about what I have done in that day and what I will do in the next day or weeks. Even through running is kind of tiring, but the thinking process can truly reduce my stress about my problems. I cannot say that you cannot have good thinking experience in a noisy situation, but I am sure a silent period is better.
In summary, spending time alone can be the first choice for me to have a rest and reduce my stress. For during the private time, I can choose thing I really want to do such as running or just watch a romantic movie. The time alone can also provides me a chance to have great sleep for I really need a quiet space. The last but not least part of the reasons is that thinking when you are alone is beneficial not only to your body but also to your mental health.
