恩恩,这个题其实审题的时候得小心,咋一看是在问城市好还是乡村好,但是其实还暗含了照顾家人的观点,所以尽量往这边带~

Even in the rapid pace of society, family, still remainremains among the top concerns in people mind. People want to spare no efforts to contribute totheir families and make their life better. However, when comes to the topic whether the people in rural areas can take better care of their families than people in urban areas, opinions vary from person to person. Personally, I stand for the delication(貌似木有这个单词,用viewpoint之类的好了 that compared with people in rural region, people living in urban areas can do better caring of the families. I would like to illstruateillustrate my contention with following reason.

First of all, as the unban areas have more advanced and comprehansive(comprehensive) medical system, there is no doubt that people living in unban areas enjoy better medical caringcare就是名词了,不用加ing than people living in less-developed regions(这里表述不准确,less-developed regions不代表rural areas,比如贵州整个一带都挺穷的,所以直接用rural areas就行). People cannot emphasize the essential role of medical caring too much, since it releases people from pain and illness, and allow them to enjoy the colourful world with strong body. I cannot come up with a stronger support than my personal experience. Last year, three months after my family moved from a small village to Shanghai, the biggest city in China, my monthermother suddenly had a heart attack. While I felt nothing bur(but) panic, my father called 120, the phone of emergency. The ambulunsambulance came to my house within 10 mintus(minutes), and taketook my mother to the nearest hosptal(hospital). Thanks to the advanced medical sysetem(system) and the fine treatment in this prosperous city, my mother recovered from the terrible disease. I cannot imagine the consequence if my family were still living in the small town while this accidence happened. Thus, I assert(assert: to state or declare positively and often forcefully or aggressively这个词有点贬义,建议瓜瓜用argue/believe)without hesitation that with the advanced medical caring system, people in unban areas can take better caring of their families.

Besides medical caring system, to be more concrete, unban regions provide citizens withmore opportunities to earn fortune, which is the material base of happy life, accessing family to more confortablecomfortable life. In no way can people neglect the dispensable role of money. In urban areas, where many companies and factories locate, people are more likely to find a promising job, or even to start their own careers. Once people have capital(money更好,capital有投资的意思), they can buy big houses, making familes’(families) daily life more enjoyable, they can take their famlies(families) for trips, enriching their experience. The urban life provides satisfaction both mentally and physically.

Adimittedlyadmittedly, people in rural areas living closer with families, so, it is more convienentconvenient for them to pay visits to their relatives’ houses. However, recent years have witnessed the fast development of transportation, especially in urban areas, which(makes) visitings and travelling more easier. Cars, Buses, trains and so on waves the anxiety(这里是神马用法??) that while living in big cities, people may go through difficulties to see and care families.

In summary, with the above-mentioned reasons, unban areas provide not only advanced medical system but alsealso)fortune. In addtionaddition, the development of transportation also contributes to convenience of taking care of families. Therefore, we can safely reach the conclusion that compared with people in rural region, people living in urban areas can do better caring of the families.

Conclusion:

910 In order to succeed in doing a new job, the ability to adapt oneself to the new environment is more important than the excellent knowledge of this job.

time comsuming: 33 minutes!!!!!!!   word: 472    激动得内流满面!!!!
There is no doubt that everyone wants to succeed, but the question is how and what plays the essential role in the path to success. Recently, there is a hot debate on the most important element contributing to success. While some people think the excellent knowledge of a job overweighs the ability to adapt oneself to a new environment, I, personally, hold the opposite opinion. Here, I would like to demonstrate my contention with following reason.

First of all, the fast adaption of physical to a new circumstance will enable a person to have a strong body, which is the base of smooth work. Can you imagine a worker who cannot fit in the new place and thus become sick can do his/ her job successfully? I am afraid the answer is definitely no. I cannot think of a better example of Li Yanhong to support my argument. As we all know, Li Yanhong is the founder and chairman of Baidu, the biggest Internet company in China. There is no doubt that Li has a lot of work to deal with everyday, and he flies numerous place to have meetings. Thanks to his ability to adapt to new environment, he can adjust his custom and biology clock quickly, which is so vital for him to keep a healthy body, allowing him to stay energetic in everyday work. Thus, we can see the fast adaption keep people physical well-being, in favor to their career success.

Besides, the adaption also means the ability to get used to the new surroundings mentally, and this is also an essential factor affecting people’s career. For example, a new employee comes to the town far away from his hometown, but he suffers home-sickness. The chance is that he is so deep sink in the emotion of missing home and families that he cannot focus on his work at all. In no way can he achieve the success in his career as he cannot devote to the work he is doing. Therefore, the ability to mentally adapt to the new environment is of great importance for people who want to succeed in doing a new job.

Admittedly, no one can achieve success without the excellent knowledge of a job. The reality is that people can accumulate expertise by doing a new job. However, the latter learning is based on the premise that the new employee can adapt to the environment, to be more specifically, he should be prepared for the brand-new things coming into his life.

In summary, with the above-mentioned reasons, it is self-evident that the ability to adapt to new surroundings will ensure people’s well-being both physically and mentally. So, we can safely reach the conclusion that it is more important for people to have the ability to adapt new environment than to have the excellent knowledge.

The reading passage and the lecture discuss the difficulties in British archaeology. While the passage indicates that there are three main serious problems in this field, the professor demonstrates that the new guidelines have improved situations much better, and he uses three specific points to support his contention.

First, even though the passage suggests that many valuable artifacts were lost to construction projects, the professor argues that as the new guidelines require construction places be examined before building, the limitation no longer exists. Once the construction place is examined to be of archaeological value, officers from many agencies will get together and make a preservation plan--to building around or to digging before construction.

Second, the professor asserts that the problem of financial support, which put forward by the passage, is solved, because today it is construction companies rather than the government to pay the bill. What is more, construction company also pay for the initial examine. In this way, financial support from construction company has been a totally new financial resource for archaeology in Britain.

Last, the professor points out that the situation stated by the passage, in which people have difficulty to find jobs in archaeology has been improved. There are a lot paid job available, since the construction company need professionally archaeology work in all construction stages. Moreover, the number of job reaches the highest in the history.

It is much easier for people to achieve success without their family members’ help now than in the past.

time consuming: 35 minutes      word:497    比昨天慢了T.T

There is no doubt that families are important in our life, and they do help out a lot on our way to success. But the question is how much they can help out and how further positive influence their help matters in modern society. When it comes the topic whether it is much easier for people to succeed with families’ help now than in the past, opinions vary from person to person. I, personally, believe that the role played by family members’ help weighs less today. I would like to support my contention with following statements.

First all of, as modern society become increasing open and more willing to welcome the distinguished idea, personal abilities are paid more and more attention, compared with other aspects. To be specific, modern world appreciates people who can think independently, and can deal with stuff by themselves. I cannot think of a better example than Steve Jobs to illustrate my point of view. Steve Jobs, the founder and chair man of the Apple Inc., was adopted by blue collar workers. Obviously, Job’s family can offer little help in his career, especially in the field of personally computer, which a brand-new industry at that time. However, depend on his novel idea, expertise, and preservation, he amazed the world with fascinating Apple productions, changing the way of people live. No one can cast doubt on the statement that Jobs succeeded with his own efforts.

Besides, with the development of the society, network plays a soaring essential way on the way to success. However, today the definition of network has changed a lot as it is no longer limited in the blood bond, indeed, it spread wider. Social relationships, such as Classmates, friends, colleagues and so on should be taken into consideration when people refer to network today, and these relationships do give a big favor in career success. As eager to be an account, I applied for the audit intern of PWC, the biggest accounting company in the world. But I did not get pass through the interview. When I told my classmates this sad story, one of my classmate, Lily, said she may can help out, since she had been an intern in PWC before. With her recommendation, I got another chance for a new interview, and Lily helped me prepare the interview. Finally, thanks to her kindness, I got the job.

Admittedly, families help does contribute to people’s career, and due to the blood bond they may spare no efforts to help people. However, people have to realize the change of the society, which is no longer the one every problem can be solved by “Guanxi”. Indeed, only when people have excellent knowledge in specific field can achieve long-term success.

In summary, as the above-mentioned reasons indicate, today families help weigh less than in the past. Thus, we can safely arrive to the conclusion that it is not easier for people to succeed with families’ help now than in the past.

9月12日Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Patience is usually not a good strategy. We should take action now rather than later.

time consuming: 31:40               word 478

There is no doubt that everybody wants to succeed, but the question is how. When it comes to the topic what should we do when opportunities are put in front of us, opinions vary from person to person. While some people regard patience asa good strategy, some would like to take action immediately. Personally, I, would like to vote for the latter option, and I am going to support my contention with following statement.

First of all, the opportunity is so precious and short-lasting(fleeting) that people should spare no efforts to seize it rather than just let it go. As the old saying says, time does not wait for people, so do opportunities. Only the people discovered a good chance then seize it could he/ she has the possibility to success. I could not think of a better example than Li Yanhong to illustrate my point of view. Li Yanhong, the founder and chairman of Baidu, the biggest Internet company in China, set up this company the time he smelt the signal that the Internet would be an essential part in China since the developed countries had already gain a lot of fortune from this emerging industry. Without any hesitation, he turned to capitalists and looked for technology workers. It is not exaggerated to say that Li built his internet empire within a year. He is the perfect example that people see the chance and successfully catch it.

Besides opportunities, the external factors, patience could also lead people’s passion fade out, which is the internal element contributing to success. We could not emphazise the importance of passion to much, because without passion people could achieve nothing but failure. Still cite Li Yanhong, the man who also stand for passion. Li is from a blue collar family, and his parents did not have any capital to support him to star Baidu. At the very beginning, he visited numerous investors in China to persuade them to put money on his program. According those investors, it is Li’s passion rather than anything else that moved them, and drove them to invest. Failure came up sometimes, Li defeat them with passion. At the end, we see that passion is so powerful that it constructed an amazing company.

Admittedly, patience allows people to think twice before take an action, and it seems to be much careful for people to take an initial. But if people think too much, it will not only let the opportunity go away, and also make the passion fade out. Without opportunity and passion, even though people could think of every possibility of their action, in no way will they succeed.

In summary, with the above-mentioned reasons, the disadvantages of patience overweigh the advantages. Thus, we can reach the conclusion safely and soundly that patience is not that good, and people should take an action as soon as possible.

913 Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Colleges or Universities should offer more courses to prepare students for the future before they start working.

time consuming: 35:43                 words: 473   一个早上连写两篇真心吃不消,这篇感觉第三段弱爆了

There is no doubt that colleges and universities contribute a lot to career success of students, but the question is what kind of course those schools should offer. When it comes to the topic whether universities should arrange more courses on career for students, preparing them to the future challenge from career or not, opinions vary from person to person. While some people say no to the question, as they value specific knowledge more, I, personally hold the belief that students can gain a lot from courses about career, and university do need to offer those courses more.

First of all, through these career courses, students are more likely to acknowledge what kind of jobs they will face, and then as they have deeper understand of various of career jobs, more chance are that students could figure out the most suitable job for them. Once students know where their suitable job lies, they can fight straight forward to it without wasting time on looking for suitable jobs through personal working experience. Take myself for example. My university did offer a lot of course on career, and these courses shows what the specific jobs each career do. Through those classes, I have a much closer look at numerous industries. Once I want to be an accountant, but then I realize accounting need careful working and it seems to be a little flat in the career path. Furthermore, I learnt that there are challenges lying in marketing. Addicted to adventures, I made up my mind to work in marketing field. Lucky for me, I have the opportunity to sign for marketing course in time, and I no longer need to waste time on the field I have no interests in.

Besides, courses on careers teach students how to behave in future working, such as skills on interview, communication and cooperation. These knowledge make student more inclined to standout in the fierce competition in modern society. According to the investigation conducted by Peking University, 91 percent students think they benefit from courses on careers which they received during school time, and 94 percent students vote for the action that university offer more course about careers.

Admittedly, universities are obligated to teach student specific knowledge in their major, preparing them with excellent command of expertise. However, it does not mean that courses on career should be place as less value. As finding job is the ultimate goal of study, people could not emphasize the importance of course of career too much, since it brings so many benefits.

In summary, with the above-mentioned reasons, there is no doubt students would benefit a lot if universities offer more courses on the career. Therefore, we can arrive to the conclusion safely and soundly that colleges or Universities should offer more courses to prepare students for the future before they start working.

There is no doubt that everybody wants to succeed, but the question is how. When it comes to the topic what should we do when opportunities are put in front of us, opinions vary from person to person. While some people regard patience(waiting, patience 不太合适去当成strategy,还是动名词比较好) as a good strategy, some would like to take action immediately. First of all, the opportunity is so precious and short-lasting(fleeting) that people should spare no efforts to seize it rather than just let it go. Besides opportunities, the external factors, patience could also lead people’s passion(to) fade out, which is the internal element contributing to success. (这话很苍白,最好详细点)At the end, we see that passion is so powerful that it(不是passion构建的,it is the buttress to ) constructed an amazing company.

Admittedly, patience allows people to think twice before take an action, and it seems to be much careful for people to take an initial. But if people think too much, it will not only let the opportunity go away, and also make the passion fade out.
