I think for Item 6, Choice C is specifically for Inca, which does not apply to general case.

D provides a foundamental difference between vercal economy and the long distance trade.

anothe reason, even for Inca itself, Choice C does not give sufficient explaination to the difference between two systems. Actually, C is the purpose of adopting both of the system. i.e. Both Vertical Economy and Long Distance Trade can achieve C.

但感觉B项也没有问题，因为在讲long-distance trade networks时候提到“……was resolved by long-istance trade networks over which the end consumer exercised little control”，既然讲不同，那B不是很好的不同吗？
