A说募捐者很用心,削弱原文论证.

注意原文的结论说insufficient canvassing effort意思是努力不够,而不是说工作没效率(如果原文说这意思的话A对.)

如果说这句子不等于说fund-raisers having not made any contact with the donors,我不太确定,希望大家讨论一下.总体上起码C没有削弱原文结论,比A要好.

設 the donation$ of this year 分二大部分,

一部份來自found raisers(占20%,$200), 另一部分不是來自found raisers(占80%,$800),

如果, found raisers能更努力(expand the client base),raise 到$200以上(如$300)的chance就會增加,totaldonation$也會增加.

所以,found raisers不努力的argument 得到support.

觉得A和C都有道理,

A说这个学校的人和别的学校的人在吸引新的捐赠者的时候一样成功.而他们之所以有80%的捐赠率是因为老捐赠人多.所以这个学校的人并没有努力.(但是文章中说是不足够努力.和别人一样就是不足够努力么?)

C说绝大部分捐赠都是老的人来捐的,所以筹集捐款的人没有怎么去努力.(这个也有问题,我努力了没有成果不代表没有努力或者努力不够啊)

这是作者评判是否可以称为good fund raisers的标准，那就是扩大donor base

good raiser->enlarge donor base非常成功  （原命题）

现在得出结论不是好的raiser

非（enlarge donor base非常成功）-〉不是好的raiser (逆否命题）

就是要找到不能很好的enlarge donor base这个证据

                    成功的概率差不多，因此就是答案
