MIT每年的essay题目是不是都不一样？我很想知道去年的essay题目是什么(也就是说各位校友当初申请时遇到的essay问题)，以便和今年做比较。但是搜了很久也没有找到。能给个链接吗？非常感谢～～

我对SLOAN十分感兴趣，但听说SLOAN很看重Quantitative,请问其MBA课程是否存在大量的数学、统计分析等内容？对于非理工科出身学生是否会有障碍？谢谢

MBA and LFM applicants only:

Essay 1: Please tell us about a time when you had an impact on a person, group, or organization. Describe in detail what you thought, felt, said, and did (500 words or less).

Essay 2: Please describe a time when your team had to arrive at a compromise. Describe in detail what you thought, felt, said, and did (500 words or less).

Essay 3: Please tell us a time when you advocated for a position. What alternatives did you consider? Describe in detail what you thought, felt, said, and did (500 words or less).

Essay 4: Please tell us a time when you put an idea into action. Describe in detail what you thought, felt, said, and did (500 words or less).

LFM applicants only:

Essay 5: Why do you wish to pursue the LFM Program? How does this fit into your future plans?

Essay 6: Why do you wish to pursue the engineering field and specialty area you have selected?

to speeder: Sloan的课是属于恶补型的，什么背景的学生都有点吃不消。商科的数学不算太难，我们有学文科的同学，虽然有点吃力，但还是可以应付的。

to wxh2007: 前文有讲，一共7个。注意两点：1.历史数据不重要，2.做好自己的homework再提问。

我介绍一下我的背景，mitsloan请帮忙看一下，这样资格够不够申请Sloan的(对自己有点不自信啊)，我很想申请MIT 的sloan，my dream!

年龄: 今年29了
职业：senior software engineer
工作：某美国在中国的知名IT企业 工作3年，其间去过美国工作一段时间
      之前在台湾一企业工作当项目leader,领导团队
            再之前在一家日本公司作工程师 


学历：计算机本科，硕士
GPA： 88/100(本科) 83/100(硕士)

GMAT: 720 (2007.10.11 今天刚考的)
TOFEL: 还没考，不知道sloan要Tofel的成绩么？我在sloan的网站上没有看他说要，他只是说不一定要，如果你要寄过去也行

mitsloan 能不能给点建议关于申请资料准备上如何突出自己哪方面的优点，像我这样的背景的是不是很多阿？以往MIT录取的人的一些共同的特点是什么？MIT prefer什么样的人呢？

Working Experience: as business Analyst (consulting) at Wall Street Firms for 7-8 years.

GPA: 3.5 (roughly)

Age: 40.

M/F: F

BA:  Physics

MS. Physics and Electrical Engineer.

What else to be considered?

your backgound is good enough. TOFEL is not required. Just try your best.

essays and recommendations should reflect yourself as a whole. tell your own story which you believe will impress the admission committee. actually, you can find what kind of people MIT is looking for just from the essay topics. MIT likes poeple who have great ideas and can make the ideas happen.
