别误会，华人学生基本很团结，我们也没有支持台独或者反对台独的看法。事情是因为学校某些老师的不客观的政治观点要强加给学生，并且相当一部分外国学生也不了解实情，所以我们抗议教材并表示了适当的意见。

Hey Guys,

Need some of your inside guides I am very interested in INSEAD, and am looking forward to 2009 Sept. intake. Basically, I grew up in China, got both bachelor and master's degrees in Canada, and had almost 6 years R&D WE in a top Canadian company ;) yep (not an American company) in Canada.

My goal right after MBA is MC either in preferred Asia area or in Canada. Recently I have contacted a recent INSEAD Alumni from one of big three MC firms in Toronto office. He told me his wonderful experience in INSEAD is unmatchable anywhere ) one thing he did mention is it seems that INSEAD didn't have a formal program to prepare case interviews, so he practiced a lot with his buddies.... Could you guys give us some current updates regarding how the school supports people who want to enter MC industry, and most importantly how students prepare case interviews and how supportive INSEAD students are to each other?

By the way, I am 30 years old. Always believe timing is one of the most important factors to succeed Thanks!

first of all, i don't think age is a majore issue for you, although it does matter to some extend.

Regarding Consulting recruitment, as the Co-Presedent of the INSEAD Consulting Club, I'll try to answer your question.

-- FYI, in Dec 2007 class, those who want a consulting job in China all got at least one offer

-- that said, offers from Mck/ BCG/Bain are extremely hard to get (it really depends on luck, in my oppinion)

-- For case interview, you need to organize yourself to be responsible for most of the preparation

-- ICC will organize panel disscusion (those who were not consultant and got offer from consultancy), consulting firm workshop for case cracking and Peer to Peer Cracking the Case interviews (with classmates who worked in top firms)

-- there are dosens of classmates who worked in consultancy, please approach them for mock interview as well

同学，你是没有太认真找工作，就这样还拿了很牛的几个offer，大部分人都不止拿1，2个offer啊，而且很多时候是拿到差不多的就不再申请了。我主要是针对想转行去金融的朋友说的。

Shaoji你好，请问如果打算通过B-School转行， 年纪要多小，背景要多硬，成功的机会才会比较大呢？ 能简单举个实例说明么？多谢
