以下是引用tianc在2007-9-4 1:27:00的发言:please help on this one from other 9-3-jj.
Plants are more efficient at acquiring carbon than are fungi, in the form of carbon dioxide, and converting it to energy-rich sugars. - Plants are more efficient at acquiring carbon than are fungi
- Plants are more efficient at acquiring carbon than are fungi
- Plants are more efficient than fungi at acquiring carbon
- Plants, more efficient than fungi at acquiring carbon
- Plants acquire carbon more efficiently than fungi
Why C, think to be A/B ( probably A should: Plants are more efficient at acquiring carbon than fungi are). fungi is plural of fungus, mushroom, it should be parallel as Plants, so need verb after than?
or in C, are is omitted after fungi, is it OK?
From prep sc note:
I eat apple faster than you do, or I eat apple faster than you
different meaning. A are more efficient [at acquiring carbon] than are B 肯定错。 A are more efficient than B(are). I eat apple faster than you do。 E的Plants acquire carbon more efficiently than fungi 也是要补出do。 2)at acquiring carbon这个状语从句的位置考点:放在more的后面(A/B),破坏more..than结构,使A与B不能对称。 Plants are more efficient than fungi 这个比较结构,在acquire & convert两个方面。 Plants, more efficient than fungi at acquiring carbon
