ISB能有那么多学生到国际市场上就业和印度的语言和文化优势有关，中国学生的英语整体比印度还差了一节，更不用说文化上的因素了。中国人在欧美公司整体上很难与印度人竞争，毕竟东西方的文化差异太大。所以中国商学院的毕业生到国际就业市场去竞争短期内不是一个主流方向，个人认为充分利用中国及亚洲崛起的机会对中国商学院学生才是比较好的一个选择。

It is not necessarily true. It seems that people from HK, Taiwan and Singapore have done better in MNC senior management than Mainland Chinese. Global placement is worth trying in the long run. Many young Chinese students are very fluent in their English. Cultural difference is a big hurdle. Moreover, Chinese are not good in handling questions and that also show up on this forum. Foreigners are much smoother and to the point in answering questions. On the contrary, Chinese typically get annoyed or do not know how to adrress questions head on.

Maybe business schools should spend more time on communications and the best way to handle questions.

global vision is essential for the long-term development of Chinese company,  but the global placement is only worth trying in the short term, but not long-term thing,

I will be very sorry to see  that so many young Chinese talents are only trying to get westernized

Admittedly, many cutting-edge knowledge is in English, so we should learn English, but English is not our comparative advantage when compared with the American,  I can say few people here get the native English level, so there are some ceiling things for Chinese in MNCs.

if all the Bschool graduates are only trying to get the global placement in the long run, its not a good sign, we should create our own, not just trying to get westernized and work for other country.

what I am trying to say is, the culture difference between the east and the west is too big....
  

      Its good to see some Chinese Bschool graduates get the global placement, that means our Bschool quality are globally accepted, but global placement should not become the main trend or the ultimate target, and in my view Chinese Bschool does not and will not have too much advantage over ISB in global placement.

      but we should and will find out our way.

      please notice one fact that Toyota has surpassed the GM in the first quarter of 2007, if all the Japanese only try to get the global placement,  this will not happen. They created their own, and now many Americans are trying to get their global placement in Toyota.

      and another case is Honghai, one Taiwanese-led company, now many Japanese are trying to get their global placement in Honghai.

其實CD的亞洲版一直需要的是一個moderator去將討論多導向理性與事實面的討論

小弟我接下這版主要想做的也是這件事兒

想要和国外优秀的MBA项目PK,再过30年-50年也不能说完全没有可能.现阶段,咱们还是师夷之长以制夷吧.否则,过于乐观,无限拔高,未免有点驼鸟或阿Q的感觉.
