let me share my two cents of opinion also. 去自己喜欢的学府, 不要作无聊的比较, Wharton or CBS only polish your name plate, landing your favorite job or not is still up to yourself, remember, you are the one whom is interviewing for the job, not the school. It is total none sense that one school have an edge over the other blah blah ... All it matters is you tried and keep trying, just take a look at how many CEOs have an MBA? My own observation -- many successful managers did not graduated from any of the top 20. I worked in consulting, High Tech, IT, and the financial industry, let me tell you that while a good school name gives you a head start, it is up to YOU to make a difference for yourself, it is absolutely important to know yourself and utilize all possible resources you have around you to achieve success in whatever you want to do. One more word of advice, network does not start from the school, it started from oneself, it is all around you. Whether you take the opportunity or not and initiate the contact, it is purely up to yourself. Good Luck. |
