再次商榷：

我觉得by不一定要理解成“被”，而是可以理解成“通过（某种手段或过程）”。

所以，我gemj大侠原来的理解是说的通的：通过一个过程，语言被创造出来并被理解。

对于A选项，我实在没法接受：produce and make it understandable的用法。

我觉得by不一定要理解成“被”，而是可以理解成“通过（某种手段或过程）”。

这也许讲的通，但会造成歧义，因为by通常在被动中，引动作的逻辑主语。

produce and make it understandable的用法。

pruduce后省略了it，这种省略确实少见。

看了挺晕的。我也一直在a与c中徘徊。很偏向a可是实在不理解其中produce的用法。对于c我有外一个看法不知对不。

has revealed not A but B是不是应该为has revealed B (but/rather than) A或者has not revealed A but has revealed B.毕竟not是个副词。大家一起查查看？

1. Instead of and rather than are equal to not...but... in term of logical meaning involving context, which is not included in this question though.

2. It is made understandable is totally different from it is understood as discussed above .

3. Why can both produce and make not use it as their common aim , that is understandable.
