吐死了，删掉我的破解释。现在理解E了，多读两遍就清楚了。

这里, which 修饰谁呢？这样的句子是不对的，因为which是就近修饰的，那么修饰的就不是letter了。

现在看懂了些，E中thrust过去分词修饰riverbeds，从句的谓语动词是put 。
