terry对分词的使用把握的还是比较准确的。这一点收下了。。。V-ed，V-ing，的确是非常灵活和使用的。
另外关于so...that...，我似乎有印象如果that后面的从句如果和so之前的从句主句一致的话，可以省略，不是太确定这个点。G太久了

The reading passage discusses the problem of archaeology in Britain and points out three main reasons that limit the development of archaeology. The professor indicates that the new guideline of archaeology has changing the situation dramatically.

The writer states that, because of the development of construction projects, previous artifacts are increasingly destroyed but not preserved. However, according to the new guideline talked by the professor, before the construction project starts to build, the site will be examined by local government and builder to determine whether it is valuable for archaeology. And if the site has archaeological values, measures should be taken by builder to preserve. Fortunately, the new policy will solve the question.

Secondly, few funds could be used to make archaeological research, since the resource of funds is from government. While the professor indicates that the new rules will provide plenty of money to archaeologists. The new policy suggests that the expense of examination will be paid by builder, but not by government. Therefore, new source of fund is available.

Thirdly, the reading passage remarks that the career of archaeologist is hopeless. The professor proviedes appealing evidence to support the conclusion that more positions are created and archaelogists have more opportunities in their prospective career. Attributed to the new policy that the builder will pay for the examination, the number of paid work about archaeology is increasing. The archaeologists have to complete a series of research assignments, from excavation, preservation plan to the reports.

You can know a person through the type of her/his friends.

It is widely accepted that friends are an essential part of our life. However the question about how to evaluate a friend has confused us for a long time. An increasing number of people believe that to find a friend we could investigate her/his friends who are closed to her/him. But this view also is questioned by experts who claim that it is not accurate to estimate a person by studying her/his friends. Although we could get some merits from a person's friends, it is not enough to know her/him, in my opinion.

In the first place, people often make friends with different type’s people who have various personalities. The basic factors to be friend are not characteristics but common subjects, such as working experience. Therefore it is possible that people with different personalities make friends with each other. When we want to understand someone by investigating her/his friends, we may make mistakes. For someone who expects her/his friends to be humorous, she/he will not be able to make right decision without communicating her/his friends.

Secondly, individuals, especially businessman, always make friends with the other people for various purposes, causing difficult to indentify her/his personality from her/his friends. To be a successful businessman, network plays an essential role to their achievement. Thus, businessmen have to establish wide relationship with the other people, those who they like or dislike. Consequently, if we evaluate their personality in the simple way, we may be confused by the complicated situation. Not only for the businessmen, but for the other professionals, such as layers, managers and so on, they also have wide relationship with other people.

From what have been discussed above, we may safely draw the conclusion that, although we could obtain some hints from someone's friend, it is not adequate to estimate her/his personality. It is absurd to make our judgment before taking along with our friends for a long time.

总体来说写得很好喔，只是有些拼写和用词有待商榷

The passage talks about the solutions to preserve the Torreya taxifoha, which is becoming extinct recently. The passage provides three possible means to deal with the serious problem. The professor discusses the same topic and points out that none of the three solutions is effective.

The first solution mentioned in the passage is to reestablish Torreya in northern Florida, where the Torreya have survived for thousands of years. However, the professor indicates that the microclimate of northern part of Florida was affected by the large area's climate and is not fit for the Torreya. The global warming and the decline of wetland have produced negative influence on the local microclimate. Consequently, the local climate becomes drier and the Torreya can not grow well there.

Secondly, the passage suggests to migrate the Torreya to different areas, especially further north areas. In contrast to this view, the professor states this solution may cause unpredictable result to local plants and trees. She explains that scientists have tried to move another type of tree. It is true that the tree thrive in new area, but meanwhile survival of the other trees and plants, which may be in danger also, is threatened.

The third way to protect the Torreya is to preserve it in research center. While the professor demonstrates that a limited number of Torreya cannot resist disease. To overcome disease, the genetical diversity is very important. However, only few Torreya trees could be preserved. The Torreya in the research center will face risk of extinction too.

As modern life becomes more complex, it is essential for young people to have the ability to plan and organize

As the society has developed dramatically over recent years, the issue about what kind of knowledge should be learn is becoming a matter of concern for more and more people. Some people believe that it is most important to lean specific knowledge and skills, which will put young people to favorable position in their prospective career. However, the other people believe that young people should handle the knowledge about management, such as how to plan, organize and control. For me, I think both the specific knowledge and management skills are essential, but the management will produce profound effects on one's career development.

Due to the complicated assignments and tasks in modern society, team work becomes more and more important, and the team work requires employees to obtain basic management skills. To complete a certain assignment, members in a group have to make specific plan together, and then organize various colleagues and resources to achieve goals. For every individual in a group, she/he has chance to manage the team and the assignment, therefore knowledge about management will give their large priority. Obviously, those who are able to plan and organize to achieve the goal play more important role in the team.

Skills of management can make positive effects on one's career development. It is not necessary we will do what we have learned in the university. We often change our career path because of various reasons, such as personal interesting. The management skills give us more opportunities. When I was in school, I was major in engineering, and I also learned courses like management, organization, and economics and so on. After graduation, my first work was about engineering. Four years after when our company planned to establish a new branch, I had an opportunity to make strategy for the new organization. Consequently, I was assigned in the new branch and was promoted. If I have not learned knowledge of management, the opportunity will not belong to me.

Of course, the specific knowledge is very essential for young people. To be successful, the knowledge about product or service, such as process of manufacturing, quality control, customer service, supply chain management and so on, plays a basic role.

From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw the conclusion that, although the specific knowledge is important, the ability of management is much more essential. With strong skills of management, we can survive in the complicated working environment and have a prospective career.

The reading passage talks about the "let it burn" policy and points out that the policy should be changed. However the professor, in the passage shows that the "let it burn" policy is a good choice and is creative, even though it may cause some damages. The professor provides three appealing evidences to support her conclusion.

Firstly, the writer demonstrates that the vegetation of Yellowstone was damaged seriously because of the fire. However, according to the professor, the fire provides more opportunities for plants and various vegetation. Contributed to the fire, plants which are in favor of open area have opportunities to grow up, and some kinds of seeds could only grow up in high temperature environment. In a word, the fire makes the vegetation diversity rather than disaster.

Secondly, the passage concludes that the animals also are affected by the fire because several of animals leaved their habitant or was burned by the fire. In contrast to the passage, the professor disputes that the animals benefit from the fire too. Because new plants grow after fire, such area may become ideal habitant for the other small animals. Consequently, the predators of these small animals survive here.

Finally, the local economy suffered from the fire due to decline of tourist. However, the professor argues that the reason why the number of tourist decreased after the fire is not the consequence of fire but the integrated reasons, including the decline of rainfall and the strong wind. In addition, besides the year after the fire, Yellowstone Park is still an attractive place for tourists.
