Independent Writing: 教师应不应该每五年上一次课更新知识。
Integrated Writing: TPO 22

It is truth universally acknowledged that a success man must in possession of a good education, and our teachers are those who can endow us hand-on knowledge and up-to-date technology. Now, here comes a thorny issue towards whether professor needs to renew the old knowledge once five years. Different individuals from various backgrounds uphold different standpoints. From my perspective, professors should renovate the academic knowledge every year instead of five years.

In the first place, slow introduction about the recent studies or theories impedes students’ personal development. As we know, technology and science have changed every minute and every second in the modern society, waiting for two years to renew the old principle has been too long for us to keep up with the speedy development, let alone five years. To make my point more compelling, I would like to take Robert S. Rote as an example. Mr. Robert is an excellent student in University of California and majors Electronic Engineering. He won a variety of rewards such scholarship and outstanding researcher. It seems that he can overcome all problems he counters due to extraordinary performance in his university. However, when he worked in Microsoft from 2010, he found that his relevant knowledge in class couldn’t help him to process the complex procedures any more, and he had fallen far behind his colleagues who worked in the real working environment for a long time. This case had nothing with his intelligence but the knowledge he received in the class. His senior professor always mentioned the outdated views and theories and was strict to the fixed topic of their thesis. It turned out that it is necessary for our faculties to teach students the recent trends on related field, so students will exert their talents and achieve a big success easily.

Moreover, tardy step towards academic study is not an efficient way to boost the drastically development in research fields. An undeniable fact is that professors play a pivotal role on the scholars’ value, because we attend their classes to acquire professional knowledge. Meanwhile, during the long-term process of teaching, they will cast their own outmoded thoughts on our minds and influence our opinions easily. If this is the case, it will be an unexpected disaster for all human beings. When the outside practical world pushes us forward, but our teachers prevent our proceeding feet, the development of whole academic realm will slow down. From this point, it is indispensible for professors to renovate their knowledge frequently and show more advanced theories to other scholars.

Given the concrete analysis above I mentioned, I firmly believe that refreshing the outdated contents in textbooks is beneficial to both students and serious academic realm. Only when we equip ourselves up-to-date principles and clear knowledge can we contribute to the development of our society and create a promising future. Otherwise, it is hard to imagine what we will be in next fifty years.

表示这篇我写的也很艰难!~~~~(>_<)~~~~

It is truth universally acknowledged that a success man must in possession of a good education, and our teachers are those who can endow us hand-on knowledge and up-to-date technology. Now, here comes a thorny issue towards whether professor(s) needs to renew (这单词我想了半天啊!!!赞一个!)the old knowledge once five years. Different individuals from various backgrounds uphold different standpoints. From my perspective, professors shouldrenovatethe academic knowledge every year instead of five years.

It turned out that it is necessary for our faculties to teach students the recent trends on related field, so students will exert their talents and achieve a big(不建议用这个形容不可数) success easily.

Independent Writing: Do you agree that students taking school organization and activities club is as important as their academic class.
Integrated Writing: TPO 23

Tremendous success is like a scarce green rose that a great many people have been expecting to pick it up. It is undoubtedly that good education plays a pivotal role on future success. Now, here comes a thorny issue towards which one students should pay much attention to, does the activities outweighs or as important as the academic knowledge? From my perspective, the former one overshadows the later one.

To begin with, taking school organization and activities club can enhance students’ communication capabilities and reinforce their responsibilities, which are vital factors for personal development in the real working environment. To make my standpoint more compelling, I would like to take my own experience as an example. When I was a freshman, I didn’t like to chat with others due to introversion. Later, I took part in two student organizations and acted as the minister for two years. It is undeniable that I needed to handle a large number of tasks, such as plan big evening parties and held get-together meeting. During the process, I had to communicate with my partners frequently and conducted them. It is the platform in my school organization that I could equip myself with hands-on experiences and became more mature when facing tough situations. Later, I successfully competed for the campus supervisor of 21st Century Newspaper, because my strong responsibility had been showed in my past work. However, these practical experiences cannot be gotten from textbooks. Therefore, I tend to consider that if you want to gain further success, you should train yourself from activities club.

Moreover, friends in activities or organization can push us towards further achievement easily. As we know, personal relationship is an indispensible element in any business. We need clients and customers to buy our products and stimulate sales in the future. But, how do we enlarge our social networks? School activity is an ideal strategy to fulfill this aim. Your schoolmates or classmates undoubtedly are precious asset to establish your future business. Meanwhile, these persons can also provide more useful and efficient suggestions to help you out of the dilemma quickly. Only when you can take use full of the huge bonus from your genuine friends, you have been close to the success. Of course, the limited social circle in academic class just does little contribution to your improvement.

Admittedly, activities clubs will take a lot of our time and have negative influence on our study due to heavy trivial work. Yet the speedy developed modern society needs individuals to engage themselves in various abilities. Pure academic knowledge in class cannot keep up with the modern pace any more. On the contrary, we should emphasize more on other extracurricular experiences to reach the severe requirement of success and obtain competition.

Given all these reasons I mentioned above, I firmly believe that the equal consideration towards school organization and academic class is not suit the direction of social development. Instead, we need pay much attention to activities club to achieve our future career goal.

The listening and the reading uphold totally opposite opinions towards the cause of declined population of yellow cedar. The professor illustrates that the hypotheses in the article are fairly unwarranted. Then he lists three reasons to support his perspectives.

To begin with, the speaker contradicts the statement in the passage, which indicates that the decline may be caused by insect parasites, especially the cedar bark beetle. He demonstrates that the healthy trees can resist the infection, and they will not catch the infection easily. What's more, the cedar bark will release powerful chemical, which is poisonous to beetle larvae. In fact, the trees that have suffered damages are already ill or damaged. Hence, it is impossible for insect parasites to cause the decline.

Moreover, the lecturer casts light on the second hypotheses in the reading, which suggests that brown bears are responsible for the decline. He makes the points that the decline appears all over the area instead of only the northwestern North America. Actually, dead trees happen on both mainland and island, but island has no bears. Therefore, it is not likely for bears to play a pivotal factor in such a matter.

Finally, the presenter claims the author's argument, which says that gradual changes of climate may be blame, is nonsense. He explains that dead trees usually occur on higher elevation, because the temperature there is cooler. If this is the case, the picture should be that trees will die on the higher elevation. However, the decline actually appear on the lower elevation where is warm. Obviously, the hypothesis that the root system is sensitive to the weather is imprudent.

In sun, the instructor carefully discerns the drawbacks of the reading passage and takes one more step to reveal that the fallacies need a close scrutiny.

Independent Writing: When you are assigned an important presentation for work or school, you prefer to work on it right away so that you can work on it a little bit every day, or wait until you have a good idea about the presentation?
Integrated Writing: TPO24

It is an inevitable assignment for individuals to prepare for an important presentation in school or organization. Now, here comes a thorny issue towards that which way is efficient for us to fulfill the tasks in time and keep high quality. Should we work on a presentation right away or wait a good idea about it? Different people from myriad backgrounds uphold various opinions. From my perspective, the later one overweighs the former one. Several points in diverse dimensions will be presented and explained to testify my standpoint.

To begin with, the top of the list of my views is that well begun is half done. When we consider a topic for several times, we can draw a more comprehensive picture and do a good job for it. To make my demonstration more convincing, I would like to take my own experience as an example from which my opinion can be strengthened. This winter, I needed to write a thesis for my graduation. At the first, I just simply discussed with my mentor about the feasible topic without a close scrutiny. After my professor gave permission to my topic, I started to write and prepare for the first-run presentation in December. Unfortunately, I found I hadn’t any profound insights and deeply new perspectives to my theme before the day I needed to hand in my first-version thesis. Then I had to write outdated and uncreative things on my paper. Of course, you can guess the result. I just got B for my presentation as I couldn’t answer some questions on the specific professional field. From my case, we can see that a twice think is an indispensible factor to avoid such a problem quickly.

Moreover, another compelling point worth being mentioned is that a deliberate consideration is time-tested, which will push us to win others’ support easily. During the process of preparation for a presentation, if we search as much as possible relevant books online, and then we will get a general idea and major direction on the similar realm from other scholars. You know, this kind of broaden outlooks can reinforce our perspective and make our viewpoint more persuasive correspondingly. Only when we can cast a cautious hypothesis and conduct repeated tests can we walk farther on the way to a successful road.

Last but not least, it is necessary for us to close the gap between the assertions, before the opposite side has been taken into consideration. Admittedly, beginning earlier and finishing a little every day is not time-consuming, simultaneously, we will not push ourselves to the deadline within limited time. However, it actually wastes more time to reconsider what we have done, especially when we have no idea and cannot proceed further about the topic we choose. Hence, not hasty is a crucial strategy to complete your task quickly.

Given all these carefully analysis I mentioned above, I firmly believe that we should wait until we have a good idea before beginning our presentations. Although some people uphold query about my illustration, the reasons and elements I referred can serve the purpose to propel those opponents to notice the various dimensions and reconsider the parts they have ignored. Therefore, next time, when facing such a tough dilemma, why not you choose to wait for a while before making your decision?

The listening and the reading uphold totally opposite opinions towards whether the materials inside the fossil of T. rex can be remains of blood vessels, red blood cells and collagen matrix. The professor illustrates that the author's viewpoint is too problematic. The he raises tree points to support his perspectives.

To begin with, the speaker contradicts the statement in the passage, which indicates that small branching channels inside the fossilized leg bone probably correspond to hollows in the bones where blood vessels were once located. He demonstrates that the organic substance may be something else. Since after the dinosaur die, bacterial will colonize the hollows and transfer the materials in the bones. In fact, the soft substance the researchers identified is the soft moist residue left by the bacteria when they lived there.

Moreover, the lecturer casts light on the second reason in the reading, which suggests that the presence of spheres can be the remains of red blood cells. He makes his points by saying that the site where the researchers find the bone has other prime animals, so maybe the remains are other animals' blood cells not T. rex's.

Finally, the instructor disputes the hypothesis that collagen can reveal the T. rex have bone tissue. He explains that scientists haven't found other collagen older more than 100,000 years. Actually, collagen cannot last longer than that. However, the collagen the researchers found is 70 million years age, it is skeptical to image the collagen is T. rex's collagen. Meanwhile, human's skin contains collagen. Therefore, it is more likely that the collagen matrix comes from researchers' skin when handling the bones.

In sum, the presenter carefully discerns the drawbacks of the reading passage and takes one more step to reveal that the fallacies need a close scrutiny.

改TPO24综合 :
The listening and the reading uphold totally opposite opinions towards whether the materials inside the fossil of T. rex can be remains of blood vessels, red blood cells and collagen matrix. The professor illustrates that the author's viewpoint is too problematic. The(then) he raises tree points to support his perspectives.

To begin with, the speaker contradicts the statement in the passage, which indicates that small branching channels inside the fossilized leg bone probably correspond to hollows in the bones where blood vessels were once located. He makes his points by saying that the site where the researchers find the bone has other prime animals, so maybe the remains are other animals' blood cells not T. rex's.(这点总结的不是很全面把,我听到的好像是说in the same place,其他的动物也有,还提到了different organ什么的,)

Finally, the instructor disputes the hypothesis that collagen can reveal the T. rex have bone tissue. He explains that scientists haven't found other (?,不是other collagen哦,是说从没在年龄大于100,000years old的动物身上发现有collagen哦。)collagen older more than 100,000 years. Actually, collagen cannot last longer than that.(有些中式表达了。。感觉) However, the collagen the researchers found is 70 million years age, it is skeptical to image the collagen is T. rex's collagen. Meanwhile, human's skin contains collagen. Therefore, it is more likely that the collagen matrix comes from researchers' skin when handling the bones.(文章好像说了,最大的可能不是来自T. rex leg bone, 而是来自another much more recent source,然后举例说human的)
