MM果然好强，回头开一个networking的技术贴和心得贴吧！
无论中国美国，搞商业最后不都是靠networking和搞关系，只是形式不同罢了！
大家可能太习惯只知道应试教育、专研业务的学生思维和技术官僚晋升的路线，其实networking和搞关系更重要！
MBA就是给大家这么一个机会去提高这方面的能力，大家一定要抓住！
BTW，对搞科研、技术牛人创业的可能不适用，不同意的也不要抬杠！

北美top10在读，非常忙，很久没上CD了，因为以前的帖子里没有谈及过我自身的想法，写几点给后来人参考。

1. 请好好评估自己的英语能力。满板的各种排名比较就业比较，以前就觉得这种东西没意义，现在愈加觉得如此。你进了Top15，进了各种core school，限制你就业的绝对不是排名啊地理位置这些，是你的英语能力和对美国文化的适应。中国人的英语是最差的

这也是我这半年来一直思索得到的结论。英语能力才是这么多困难的关键所在。

也要看人的，我知道的有三流学校的女生，英语很一般，都拿到工作OFFER的。。。但是亚裔男，真的很难很难。。。

exactly. I'm working in the UK. my best english friend told me honestly that in most cases they only want asian girls to stay. 1st, they have natural desire to protect girls. 2nd, if they hire an asian girl they can increase the 'intl employee percentage' and 'women employee percentage' at the same time... i think it similar in the US. it's just my experience. anyway, thousands of of chinese found jobs and stay every year.

只能说他们太不了解中国的高考了。。。。当年我比复旦分数线高20分，但是户籍、地缘、填报估分制度、专业掉挡、文理综合教学试点等中国特色的东西都会导致最后的不同。我们省当年的录取分数线依次是清华、北大、上外、交大、复旦。。。。。估分后填报，填报后出分数线，没有零志愿一说。设想一下，如果估算了一下没有冲击北清复交，反而报个上外保底，结果岂不反而成了炮灰？偌大一个教育强省江苏，上外以巨高的分数线一共录取45名学生，将会是何等惨烈的场面？有人可能会以高于复旦分数线的成绩直接掉入二本。。。

结果偶以全线高于130（还有140以上的省第一单科成绩）保住了上外四十五分之一席。。。。

当然，如果进了北清复交，你的资源、平台、视野和机会肯定很好。四年以后差距就出来了。愿赌服输，学会知足，但也不要放弃就是了。

.......officially it must be in the UK or in the USA, or in the PRC, not like in Britain or in America, in China. dont mislead people please. however in conversations we can say in UK in USA in PRC. in addition, English is more like a tool to communicate. even more and more British people are saying 'less and less people' now.

I fu le Joanna, it is 'in the UK', not in UK. I make the same mistake years and years ago as Chinese has no habit to put a the in sentence.

Do not know what your conversation is about. However, it is nice if you at least searched and come to critise other's English.
