Hi, Kelloggchinese xd,

能介绍一下写essay 3 的方法吗？这篇essay是在考察什么呢？还是说 admission 看的时候，第一篇就是看essay 3的，然后按照你自己评估的内容，再去看别的申请材料？

感觉essay 3写不出什么东西，就是把申请材料各部分的内容又来了个中心思想小结。困惑中！

不知别的xdjm怎么处理的。

Dear Kelloggchinese, 我也有几个小问题

1) essay 3 论点如需例子支持，是应该用其他essay里已经用过的例子呢，还是可以出现新的例子？新例子会不会让人感觉突兀？

2) 1-2 page double spaced, 能否调整word页角和左右间距，会不会被认为投机取巧？而且字号用多大合适呢？

3) 后面的小文章2-3段字数有无限制呢？

都是一些操作性的问题，提前谢谢你了！

楼上的mm，后面两个我可以说一下我在BW上看到的东西，

2）建议不要调整；字号11－12；但所有essay统一；

3）没有，但最好不要超过一页。

1）我也很想知道。mm好像是在3中再次总结自己的优点？

（不过个人觉得不好用新的，既然你的角色是评审者；他怎么会知道你没有说过的东西呢？！）

我觉得3是一个总结，可以强调你的优势，但不是再创作一篇，要符合文章的内容。

木木和木木 answered the questions pretty well. For essay 3, it's a tough one. I can only talk about my personal choice when I applied, I chose to summerize all the key points, including those already mentioned in other essays. Don't copy the sentences from other essays though, try to frame the essay from AO's standpoint, think what they would look for in an applicantion, make the story flow better. I guess you can also add some new stories if necessary.

BTW, if you can make it to the 12/18 Beijing informal infomation session, you can probably ask how other Kellogg students and alumni wrote.
