Thanks for your time answering questions here. I'm currently applying for Kellogg. Just wondering how many K-graduates find job in VC industry ? or some M& A division of big corps, such as MS, or iCap ?

There are a couple of Kellogg students finding jobs in VC every year.The number, however, is not significant. VC is a very special industry,relying heavily on personal networks. It's very hard, even for nativeAmerican students with some PE or VC backgrounds, to break into thisfield. Last summer, a Chinese student did manage to land an internoffer from the VC division of a MNC.

Thanks. Your answer confirms my understanding on that issue from other source.

Another issue. Would it be a good practice to contact certain professor of Kellogg whose research field is close related to my employment background, so that he can value more about my background, and possibly has a positive impact to Adcom ?  I do not have a personal network with that prof., but I believe he will be interested in my former work history.

To Navidog: MBA application process is totally different from that of the PhD program. So contacting individual professors is
basically awaste of your time, unless you want to be his PhD student.
The decision will be made by Admissions Committee, and professors are rarely
on thecommittee

hey,kellogg chinese, needs your help

i am not sure about kellogg's interview policy. can i require an interview in email before i submit my application or i must forward an application  with an request of interview?

Since last year, the policy has been changed. As a result, you have tosubmit application part one(which is basically all basic information)before getting an interview. That being said, exceptions can always bemade, under certain circumstances. You need to email AdmissionsOfficers for any special request.
Also, you do not need to send an separate email asking for interview.The interview will be automatically assigned after receiving your partone application.

kellogg在第一部分就要求交申请费,开始觉得有点夸张,但后来发现,她并不要求密码,于是明白只是一个套子,还没有正式下套子呢,呵呵.
