There is little difference between round 1 and round 2 applications.
As I said before, quality is mroe important,long working experienceitself will not work against you.  However, usually  peopledo expect more if you have a longer working experience, so you need toshow how your career progressed over the years, and why you want to doMBA now etc.

Eutopia: I haven't checked this year's application package, follow theinstructions. (Last year, I got my schools' official transcripts insealed envelopes without the forms, and it was OK. But, take your ownrisk if you don't follow the instructions.)

Dear Kellogg Chinese,

      I am applying Kellogg this year. When trying to fill in the first part of online application  to request interview, I found the Kellogg's system is poorly designed that there is not enough space for most items, from the name of the employer to the activities and  awards. I have to cut off information in order to fill in the blank.  I suppose it's because the Embark system that Kellogg used. It is one of the worst systems I have used among all the schools I am applying. I am afraid such an inconsiderate application system will impact a poor image of Kellogg to prospective students. Actually I like Kellogg very much during past contact and rated it the first choice this year. I don't know if you guys have had the same problems last year. I would expect that you guys can urge the school to change such situation, if possible. Meantime, can you tell me how to deal such situations? Do you all have to shorten the name or content just to qualify such requirement?

我也有同感, 结果还因为限制太小, 使劲用缩写, 有两个TYPE ERROR出现, 没检查出来就SUBMIT了, 不知道会不会有影响.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will pass them to the Admissions office.
If you are really concerned about the important information beingshortened, I would suggest you send an email to the Admissions office.Last year, I also faced the same issue and got by withabbreviations(like Univ. for university etc.). These items are notnearly as important as the essays though. So don't worry too much aboutit.

Thanks for Kellogg Chinese. I would like to write to the admission officer and staff about the situation and suggest to change the situation for future students.

Another Questions is that How soon will you receive the interview invatation after you submit the first part of online application? Will it take weeks?

it will take 2 to 6 weeks. i got a confirmation letter from Kellogg which says so.

I am not sure about alumni reunion in Shanghai, I would assume it's only for alumni networking even if there is one.

To gloriasy: Usually it takes a few weeks, and don't worry, everybodywill get one since it's required. If you don't get the invitation intime, write to AO or call them(like I did last year since sth. wentwrong with my email system, and I didn't get the invitation email),they are all very nice and will take care of this.

Working experience varies a lot, from 2-10 years, but normally 4-6. I guess the most important thing is to have a good story and can really answer why MBA, why now and why Kellogg.
