Applying for Purdue U. Ph.D?

It's really nice of you to provide us so much useful information.
I'm an applicant of Marketing PHD.
I'm a senior student in China mainland university. I only have a little research experience but no publications and no work experience. I wonder if the professors would consider it as a weakness.

I know at least one of the admitted students got an interview. I guess they interview those they consider admitting. In general, I think test scores are important. It would be better if you are strong in other aspects such as GPA, research and recommendations as well.

BTW, here is my backgroud,
国内一类-理工科：
本科：双学位，No.1计算机，GPA：85/100，No.2金融：83/100；
保送同校硕士：计算机应用，做过CS的research,校内发表文章一篇；
目前在美国综合排名前20读 MS Finance, GPA:3.76,有TA和RA的experience, 得过奖学金；
GMAT：650；
推荐信：3个US，2个Finance的AP,1个adjunct professor在美国政府部门做research,
请教：申请专业排名在30～50之间是否可能？GMAt是否是瓶颈？多谢多谢！

I personally would strongly encourage you to get a 700+ GMAT. Your other credentials looks good. If you really hate to sit for GMAT again, you might want to shoot for a program whose applicants have 650 GMAT on average.
