Many Voices is an annual event for prospective students to learn about the celebrated diversity of the GSB. This year, the event will be held on October 6-7, 2006 and due to the overwhelming interest in the program, acceptance into the program has doubled in size. The event is held by Asian Society Leadership.

各位师兄师姐，能不能帮我问一问来自family industry的同学，没有确定的工作职位resume中的exprience应该如何处理？

还有essay应该如何侧重一下？

I got my master degree from UK 4 years ago and worked in Canada for 3 years after that. Do I still need a TOEFL? Thanks

有3年半工作经验的话,三个推荐人中就不包括上学时候的导师了,是么?

看起来就是两位是工作中的上司,另外一位是很了解我的同事,对么?

答：今年的申请材料我没看，去年的材料说的很明确，一个上级，一个同级，一个其他。除非有很好的理由，否则尽量不要用导师。其实具体选择谁根本不重要（除非是斯坦福认可的超级牛人——不要问我定义是什么），关键是体现你的性格你的特点，而且这三个人的推荐要从不同角度互相帮助互相衬托，既说明了不同方面又显然有内在联系。

答：You probably don't need to take the Toefl. But please refer to Stanford website or application package for questions like these, it is more accurate.

答：据我所知，这届中国人没有family business背景的同学。我对这个问题也没有概念。不过提供一点好消息，我看到有family business club，可以证明有你类似背景的人应该不少。
