问1：One question for previous years' applicants: did you guy apply for P4D fellowship?  can international students apply for it?

问2：Same question with happyme, can anyone from Stanford share some ideas on P4d fellowship? is it a good idea for Chinese students to apply?

答：I was going to, but I didn't because I just didn't have the time. If you have nothing better to do, why not give it a try? Although I think only two or three applicants get it each year, so you can imagine the difficulty, which was also part of the reason I gave up on it - I couldn't justify the cost/benefit.

By the way, I still don't know who the P4D fellowship recipients are for class of 2008.

答：你是在问这是否算优势还是听说这是优势想要确认一下？最后一句的意思是这是否是劣势？

甭管怎样，优势与劣势更多的不在于你在哪里待过，关键是你在那里的时候如何利用了一切条件甚至还创造条件来提高完善自己，为自己今后的人生理想作准备。

申请网站是可以上，学校网站最近两天上不去.问了不少人（网通，电信线路）都是同样的情况。

Hi yxb98, I'm at Shanghai, using ADSL by China Telecom.  I can access the school website.  It just loads really slowly, you need to have some patience.

To SZH123H, I recently talked to a Stanford year one.  She applied third round last year, but she said they only accepted 20 people out of 600, so the chances are rare.  Even if you are qualified, you would still need a lot of luck to get admitted in R3.  But you can try your luck anyway, who knows.  Good luck!

请问，斯坦佛有没有自考生进去的，我本专科都是非全日制自考考出来的--会计专业，GPA很低，所以去莫大读了硕士---金融管理，我也专门发贴问过了，他们说好像硕士的文凭和分数对申请没多大用处，还是本科的资料决定是否能被录取。我还是觉得应该向在校的前辈们咨询一下如果我有投行和咨询的背景的话，是不是可以弥补我自考GPA分数不高的被动情况。如果本科学校和成绩决定生死的话，看样我进斯坦佛读书的愿望就只能是痴人说梦了：（（（
