可是新东方的gmat逻辑分册中最后一部分练习60题的第一题也正是这道题,而这里的答案确实是B,真的!

看过一道类似的真题，抱歉忘记在哪里了。和这道题的思路是一样的，但是答案的方向是B而绝对不是D。

I cannot agree with you on your explanation. You said "这只是前例的内容，不能把它放进现例里。" I would say "这只是前例的内容，不能把它放进现例里 unless there is an assumption". That is where an assumption comes into play.

If D is right, the author should at least indicate that the company HAS TO hire the copywriter and graphic artist. I can think of an example:

Company A hired Tom as the new president for its division X and Tom revived X. Company A has to put Tom to division Y to revive Y. Now an answer like D will fit.

In the original question, there is not even a hint that the company has to use the same concept (no matter what it refers to) for the houseware catalogue.

B is right. Using the same example I had:
Company A hired Tom as the new president for its division X and Tom revived X because he has the client base. Company A is planning to put Tom to division Y to revive Y. Here the assumption is that Tom's client base will work the same way for Y.
