Yes. That might be a reason. Some students are very picky in job searching. They care a lot about locations, industries and fuctions. I heard a chinese unemployed graduate gave up an offer from GE because he don't like Ohio and the starting salary is not so decent. That happens more on US graduates.

In fact, I have no detailed data about that. Second year students are still in internship or were just back, we might have more chance to meet after autumn quarter begins.

My interview was a telephone interview with a second year student. So, my experience might not applicable to your case. But last week, I met a prospective applicant from Italy at a presentation, who did an interview with an associate director of admissions. The interview was very casual and relaxed. I don't think you need to finish all essays before interview. But I strongly suggest you have a clear outline of your career progression and future development, linking together by how Chicago GSB will assist you to acheive your goal. Don't just say Chicago GSB is a great school in Finance. Everybody knows that. Dig into website and brochure of GSB and find more.

Resumes of graduates are property of GSB and graduates individually. We are not allowed to give out to any people without the permisson of both. I am sorry.

It's really surprised that GSB mailed me a brochure! Most of other schools can only offer PDF files. I'll dig into it as deeply as possible...

About 11 or 12, including several admits of last year. About 25 in total, including those from Hongkong, those worked in US and several immigrants from mainland, Hongkong or Taiwan. I would say there are fewer and fewer chinese students at GSB now. I think that also happens in other top business schools.

Sorry I am a bit confused here. You mean resume template for GSB students or applicants? We do have a resume template for all MBA and Ph.D students. But if you use that for application, I don't think that's a good idea to show your enthusiasm to GSB.:-)
