文章分析：感觉文章结构不难但是读得乱乱的，主要是分不清replication、citation这种等等的概念，花了一点时间才搞明白作者到底在支持哪个和批判哪个。
第一段：从Buddha类比科学家，说科学界没有做到像Buddha这样重视经验和replicability。科学界往往忽视了replicability的价值，更喜欢novelty，导致大量重要的实践没有被赞同和表扬。
第二段：讲述为何科学界更喜欢novelty-人类都更倾向于赞扬新事物。介绍了h-index，这个是基于citation的一个指标，而不是reproducibility。这种对于novelty的聚焦导致了对pioneering but unreplicable studies的过度强调。
