非常感谢Tripleg的分享，作为24FALL申请者，我从这份名单获得了很多启发。

根据个人的申请经验，我也想对这份名单做一些补充。第一，基于PhD Program Placements进行分层同时能够比较准确地反应各个学校的申请难度。虽然由于多种因素的作用，一些学校在UTD或者TAMUGA排名上有比较亮眼的表现，但是它们真实的申请门槛和学生的后续职业成长与其并不相称，很容易给申请者造成误导。

第二，稍微有些顾虑的是，Tripleg这份名单没有再次细分各项目毕业生进入何种档次的学校工作，我认为这降低了评价Tier 1-2学校时的准确性。对于这两档学校的毕业生而言，他们大都能够找到research school教职，但是一些学校主要向Tier 2-4输送毕业生，而另外一部分学校能够稳定地将学生place到Tier 1-2。如果将就业学校的排名高低纳入考虑的话，我认为Tier1-2有可能再次区分出三个层级（如Harvard-WUSTL-Arizona）。

最后，考虑到教职市场近几年的快速变动，我很期待Tripleg在空闲的时候能够对这份榜单进行更新。再次感谢你的分享！

请问楼主觉得Stevens institute和Oklahoma state university之间选哪个比较好啊，我看到之前把oklahoma分到tier5， sit没有排名，现在很纠结

If you do really well at Oklahoma State, an R1 institution, you should have a chance for a 'balanced school'. Stevensen Institute is an R2 institution, and its doctoral program (generic, presumably) came into being only a few years ago, meaning that your future would be highly unforeseeable, if not gloomy.

Oklahoma State is in T5 of the Placement Rankings. Stevensen Institute belongs to the Unranked cohort.

请教楼主，auburn和UNL的finance program哪个更好点？UNL近些年的placement感觉也挺一般的，但给的funding比auburn多几千，教课要求也少些
