建议补充 一些瑞士的学校～ 比如UZH/SFI。UZH 的 跳板硕很优秀吧，我看到曾经有去到WBS的毕业生。同时他们商学院的finance方向相当不错。

Goal is to become a faculty in a R2/R3 school.

Your choice would be between Alabama and Louisiana State. The two programs are substantially similar. The Auburn program was established only a few years ago.

The business school of University of Alabama has been rising visibly, as is evidenced by its entry -- for the first time since its inception -- in UTD Top 100 Research Ranking 2022. In contrast, the business school of LSU has never made it to the ranking. However, the PhD programs of the two schools are strikingly similar in terms of placements, etc.

By the way, a student from China once shared that s/he suffered discrimination in the LSU program and eventually withdrew voluntarily or was asked to withdraw. While being an exceptional case, this might be the cause for caution and a factor to weigh in the process of comparing and contrasting offers.

The Utah Finance Program is probably as strong as the Arizona, Iowa, Colorado, and Pittsburgh programs.
