E选项（correct）：电力A是用来给新技术提供能量，用来产生电力A的fossil fuel的数量比起老技术中的电力B数量要少（电力B给老技术提供能量）

请问：B选项为什么经常被大家判为无关选项？我认为它是加强了结论啊！
另外，请问有人能准确翻译B选项和E选项吗？另外能否解释一下B和E

B，制造采用新技术的机器比制造采用老技术的机器耗费更少燃料（operation of industry指用机器生产，不是指制造机器的过程）
E，用来发电（新技术用电）所需的燃料量，小于用燃料直接生产所需的燃料量。

制造x1比制造x2费燃料少，不代表用x1生产y比用x2生产y费燃料少。

我懂了。
结论是：在工厂用机器做生产的时候，新技术做生产比老技术做生产耗费的燃料更少
B选项是：新技术中使用的机器在制造的时候比老技术中的机器在制造的时候需求燃料更少。。。
结论是在说生产，而B选项是在描述这项技术中所涉及燃料的消耗多少
我这样理解对吗？

旧技术  需要提供的power是10 ， 10 = 5（燃料） + 5 （燃料）
新技术  需要提供的power是10 ， 10 = 5 （燃料） +  5（电力提供）
E选项的意思是最后那个5所需燃料，比第二5所需燃料要少

我觉得B选项 说的是这个工厂所采用的机器在制造过程中燃料减 少。 但这个机器又不一定是这个工厂生产的。。。。 而答案比的是 不同工厂所采用的燃料

这道题我也绕了好久。我做的时候是用两个饼图表示你那两个等式，意思差不多，按照出题者思路确实是“E选项的意思是最后那个5所需燃料，比第二5所需燃料要少”，但让我纠结的是题目仅仅说是新技术用电力，老技术用燃料，为什么最后还得说这个电力是用燃料提供的啊？。。。。。。

就像楼上几个说的：制造机器的过程和 机器生产的过程 两个不是一个过程。说白了，就是 机器制造所省下来的那点fossil fuels，很有可能在 最后生产的时候都耗尽了。
如果你也是学business 肯定就知道，operation 指的是day-to-day business，和之前的acquiring machine 根本不是一个步骤。两个是完全不同的步骤，不一定一个步骤中fossil fuels减少 就会影响另外一个步骤的变化。

难道是我的思路和大家都不一样么。。。 我纠结的是选项A。我在网上看 只有一个贴子里有问A，别的都在问B。

A 在OG里的解释我看不懂：
它说“其实，这个选项用一种非直接的方式，削弱而非加强了结论。因为如果Fossil Fuels都用来生产新科技中的电，然后新科技的output增长了的话，则结论成立的可能降低了”

我不明白，就算fossil fuels都用来在新科技中 生产电了...然后呢？难道答案复杂的认为，是 fossil fuels在变成电的过程中 能量损耗了，电在生产的时候进一步损耗。所以损耗了之后output还增长的话，fossil fuels用的 相比自然就多了。。。
可是这种想法 有点偏吧，应该怎么想？？
