Hi, RHOD, This is no standard learning style here at Wharton, for the school provides us with overwhelming resourses, both acamically and professionally. It is totally up to you to form your own learning style, besides that the classmates here have very diverse backgrouds, as Howard mentioned in his anwser about the learning team. We really learn a lot both from the professors and our classmates. As for what impressed me about the learning experience here, I would say that the design of the overall curricular. It is well interwoven so as to ensure our knowledge base as solid as possible (in such a short period of time and so little sleep. ) For instance, we could have several professors talk about M&A from different angles at about the same time, professors of Finance, Accounting, Strategy, Managing People at Work, and Ethics. Moreover, we also have classmates who either experienced M&A internally from a company or externally as a financial advisor or consultant. It is a quite learning experience! |
