我想大家是否把问题复杂化了。应该是很简单的同意变换：14行的intriguing对应surprising,15行的departure对应shift away from.

7. 同意，其实让步关系里的内容是ETS阅读题非常喜欢考的考点，intriguing与surprising意思差不多，departure不就是shift么？而stature是后面所说的" pioneer innovations",

6.originality有新奇，创意的意思，正好对应原文说的novelty，原文27行说到Edison时说，novelty was always paramount.

这里作者要强调的应该是前半句，也就是对Westinghouse的忽略是与其它近代历史学家的观点相一致的

E中的surprising有嚴重的偏差。查了查Longman字典對surprising的定義，是 "unusual or unexpected"，既然T.H.這個學者的看法普遍存在於當代歷史學家的其他研究時，那麼他的這個見解就不可能是unusual或unexpected。

用cr的方法来看: 从一种观点转到另一种观点,不等于对前者的忽视.有可能是因为前者被证明不正确了.
