Agree/disagree: teachers should assign homework for student everyday
It is known to all the teachers that assigning homework is a fundamental way to solidify the fresh things learned at class. However, the amount of homework is debatable. Someone believes that assigning homework to student every day is necessary, other people may hold opposite opinion. However, I believe the frequency of assigning homework is depended on different situations.
First of all, assigning homework every day is crucial for students who are in middle school or high school. Students are required to select many classes such as history, physical, chemical, not to mention the basic math. Thus, as most of the teachers’ method, assigning homework can force students to be familiar and absorb the knowledge by repeating the content of class in homework. As one old saying, practice makes perfect. What’s more, teenager children are old enough to handle with the homework required every day. Through studying at elementary school, they know how to allocate time for studying and entertaining. Also they can separate time into pieces for different circumstance. Thus, for students in middle school and high school, they are needed and able to finish homework every day.
  However, for children who are in elementary school, homework shouldn’t be their burden every day. Young children, with the instinct of playing and exploring outside, are not willing to finish homework every day. In addition, locked at home and faced with homework is not a good way to cultivate a talent child. Teachers who are conducting this period of children should give them more time to investicate the outside by themselves, not using the heavy homework to tell them the world described in books. Admittedly, homework is part of the school life, children should finish some homework, but in a light amount. In shorts, every day’s home work is not suitable for elementary student to grow up, they need more time to discovery by themselves.
  What’s more, there is no necessity for collage student to be assigned homework every day. The study method in the collage is different from high school. The class they majored is more specific, thus, student need more time to consider the content in the class by themselves. Assigning homework every day is not efficient for collage student to enhance and solidify their study. In collage, student usually practice one circumstance by researching relevant books, searching papers writen by professors in the similar topic and simulating the formulation and experiment in the computer or lab. Therefore, assigning homework every day is not good for student in collage for they need more time to learn by selves.
  In conclusion, the teaching method may change for different levels of students. Though assigning homework is a utilizing way of acquiring knowledge, this may not suit for every students.

The reading passage and the listening material are talking about the situation of old cultural artifacts in the United Kingdom. The reading passage states many problem and limitations of them, however, professor in the listening material claims that the new rules has changed the whole field of archeology.
Firstly, the reading passage thinks that some valuable art constructions were lost to construction project. But after the new rules, says by professor in the lecture, the construction has to be exam by expert archeologists to test the value of it. The construction of new building cannot be processed before the government and specialists make plan or document to protect old buildings.
Secondly, in the reading passage, the financial support for archeological research was not enough. However, the new rules, repeats by the professor, will regulate the construction fee are paid by construction company not government. This rule brings a new source of financial support and this support is powerful and reliable.
Finally, in the past, people majored in archeology were hard to have a career in archeology, stated in the reading passage. Things changed after the new rules. The professor believes that the paid work is accessible in all construction stages. Such as tasting the value of old artifacts, doing related research, processing data, writing reports. They will be truly expert not amateurs anymore.

Agree/disagree: 对于年轻人来说，the ability to plan and to organize 是很重要的素质
When we read some biography of some celebrates like famous politician, outstanding scientist, we can easily found that all that elites are good at make plan and organize both their career and life. Accordingly, I agree with the topic, I believe the ability to plan and to organize is an important feature for young man. And I will illustrate my reasons in the following passage.
First of all, the ability to plan and organize is required in this society. Following with the digit time, work and life in all fields have changed dramatically. People in nowadays tend to handle with jobs one by one in a comparably shorter period of time, and thus force people to plan all the assignment before starting. For young man, who may not have been experienced much in society, it is better to foster the ability to manage time efficiently and to plan and organize work properly. Mastering this ability can make them suit the high seed and pressure in future job field better and gain more achievement.
Secondly, having the ability to plan and organize will give young man a meaningful life. As we all know, we just have 24 hours a day with the fixed amount of work. If you can plan and organize work well, allocating right time for different kinds of work, your working efficiency will be enhanced, thus, you are able to finish your work faster than the people who are poor in planning and organizing. Consequently, you will get more time than others. Janna is one of my collage classmate, who is not a good planner. The result of mix all the daily work is to continue to finish work home at night, which time should be used to relax herself. So, the ability to plan and organize work can ensure the balance of work and life and lead a colorful life.
Admittedly, so good at planning and organizing work is not beneficial for some young man such as artists. If they ask themselves to finish one quarter of a painting in a day, this may destroy the painting. As my point of view, spirit and feeling of art seems more important for art related works. One composer is willing to get up at 3 am to write a melody rather than sitting front of table in the planning time to composing. For people who are make living with art related work, the quality weigh more than quantity. If they can create a masterpiece sometime, they would be more famous and impression than who drawing hundreds of painting in planning time.
In conclusion, the ability to plan and organize is necessary for most of the young man in present days. This feature can help them to manage themselves and balance the life and work better. What’s more, this feature providing possibility to achieve success.
