Do you agree that it is better to spend money ontraveling and vacation than save
money for the future.
Life is full of changes, one day you own an apartment,the next day it turns into a house of Chinese food. In this case, saving moneyseems lose its meaning. We are always saving money and planning on the future. Butwhat is the point doing these when life would no always go with the road we haveexpected and end up in a different way. So I prefer spend money on travelingand vocations.

Spending money on traveling or vocation dose notmeans we are being a coward hiding in other places because we are just tooscary to face reality and don’t think of future. It is a way people get somerelax and come back a little bit stronger and happier with their works and reallife. Traveling helps people so much with building a healthy outlook on life,as traveling around the world, meeting more different people and opening theirminds. It is not an assess for weak people to avoid the difficulties. Instead, it’sjust a wonderful life style.

To spend money on the vocations dose not mean wespend all of the money on it. That would be irresponsible and abused of money. Neitherspending all of the money nor saving all the money for the future are the goodsolutions.  Manage our money reasonablyis a right way to deal with the money. What is the point of saving money forthe future? There is always a tomorrow exist. We can only try to spend theright amount of money at the right moment on the right things. People always saywe should live with the question that ’what if tomorrow is the last day of mylife ’.Then this is the answer of it on some level. Don’t wait up, take therisk and spend the money on the things we want.

Life is what happens when we’re busy making otherplans. We can not design our life like designing a building. Spend money on thethings we needed to do and wanted to do. Do not cling so tight on the future, andjust take the leap.

9.3 综合

The reading passage explores the issue of whether United States can benefit from getting certifications to wood companies. The professor’s lecture deals with the same issue.  However, he thinks that United States can benefit from getting certifications to wood companies, which contradicts what the reading states. And in the lecture, he uses three specific points to support his idea.

First, the writer rails against the reading passage's claim that too much advertisements makes ecocertification label lose their value by pointing out the fact that companies are advertising aim at different types of people that will produce different effects and they have plenty confidence to attract lots of agency from individual international business.  Obviously, the professor’s argument disproves its counterpart in the reading.


Moreover, despite the statement in the reading that the ecocertified wood is more expensive than the uncertified wood which would make people prefer the uncertified wood, the professor contends that people only chose the cheaper one when the certified one is much higher than the uncertified. Then he supports this point with the fact that most certified companies' price is just higher about 5 percent. In this case, people still willing to chose the certified companies.

Finally, the professor asserts that the American companies have ability to compete with the other companies as long as they quickly enough to catch the opportunities of the market whereas the author of the reading claims that only when their products abroad they have enough market.
In conclusion, the professor clearly identifies the weaknesses in the reading passage and convincingly shows that the central argument in the reading, Unite State’s wood companies with ecocertified products can not do well is incorrect.

When I watching classic American comedy ‘Friends’, I always wonder how couldJoey livewithout money. He borrows money from Chandler and can’t afford to give it back. Apparentlyhe doesn’t have the habit of saving money for the future. He wouldchoose using money on vacation over for the future. Well, so do I.

Firstly, it is necessary forpeople to get somevocation to relax.  So it is worth investing money on the vocation. Nowadays,everybody has baggage on their shoulder. People are pushed forward by pressures.Traveling helps people so much with building a healthy outlook on life. We travelaround the world, meeting different people and opening our minds. It is a waypeople getting some rest from hard working and come back a little bit strongerand happier with their real life. It is apositive lifestyle.

Secondly, to spend money onthe vocations not mean we spend all of the money on it. That would beirresponsible and wasting ofmoney.  We could still have money prepared for the emergency in the future.We just need to manage ourmoney reasonably. People tend to feel thereis always not enough money for the coming days. And we work so hard on earningmoney for a better life in the future that there is not time to enjoy our life.Although we have more money on the banks, but still spend a day at work.

Finally, to enjoy our nowadays and beprepare in the future, we just needto learn tospend the right amount of money at the right moment on the right things. Peoplealways say we should live with the question that ’what if tomorrow is the lastday of my life ’.Then this is the answer of it on some level. Enjoy today.

In a word, I think people shouldspend the money for the vocation because it is kind of necessary and it dosenot conflict with saving money for the future. The key to prepare for thefuture is learning the right way to manage our money and enjoy life today.

So in this case, saving money seems lost the significance of itself.
But what is the point doing (to do) these when life would no always go with the road we have expected and end up in a different way. So I prefer spend money on traveling and vocations.

When I watch the classic American comedy ’Friends’, I impressed by  Monica, a character who craving on controlling everything in her life especially people, and she ultimately fails to be a leader she wants to be. For instance, when she was the head shelf of the restaurant, she yelled and yelled but not people listen to her. Clearly,she made mistake by deciding the jobs on her own and did not consider other people. Thus, it is a proven fact that making everyone joins the process of decisions making is one of the keys to be a successful leader.


Firstly, the progress of a company is based on workersdoing their job with good mind state. Once people feel he or she is not belongs to the team, the destruction of the whole group begins. And letting members of groups thinking about the ideas together with supervisors is the solution. I can think of no better illustration of this point than the prevailing books ’HarryPotter’. One of the reasons why you know who being defeated is because he is so personal that he never shared his next action with subjects and just orderedother people around by violence. Apparently, a group managed by force orviolence is vulnerable no matter how strong the army is. On the contrary, Harryand his friends planed everything together and acted as an unbreakable team.

Secondly, the phrase ‘every one of the groups’ dosenot means that every single one bellows the head of the group. You never see apresident discussing issues with all people in a nation. Just with governors.  Further more, with the increasingly compartmentalizedof an organization; every decision maker has their own range of power andlimited numbers of people to manage. Thus, it is reasonable for a chieftain tomake sure nobody being left.

Finally, the efficiency is no determined by the numbersof people who work together. Instead of contribute to the low efficiency; ithelps headers come up with high quality thoughts quickly. This is why bigcompanies need to spend time on the meeting. Some international businesses evenhave the regular to operate remote meetings. Headmen do not have the ability tofigure every problem by themselves.
 
In a word, an efficient leader suppose to spare noeffort to make sure everyone of his group join the decision making because itis necessary for the development of the team. Also it helps managers makingright decisions.
