顺便问一下为什么GWD的题这么多怪题啊？

这道题依然有很多疑问，究竟哪个是最优选项，看了前辈们的帖子，还请nn们再来给点建议吧，拜托！！

晕，开始没认真看，想都没想，就认为make后面的东西还是说everyday life的作用，就选了D

原来是说关于children的……

D应该是错误的，因为and被逗号隔开，后面没有主语，如果是主语的省略，不知道是和主句并列还是和从句并列。这样就产生了歧义。

这个好像不必然，如果不是要区别某个特定的事物，仅仅是发现不同事物的不一致，仅用distinguish的句子在字典里是可以查到的。另外这里也不是区分(between) sounds and words, 而是区分不同的sounds and words. 

不知道我说清楚了没有，欢迎讨论。

D根本就不对，make sense of speech的逻辑主语只能是children，如果选了D，逻辑主语就变成了conversational pace了。

to distinguish 和 to make都是conversational pace所妨碍children所做的事，平行结构，逻辑意义上递进，所以选择B。

B和D意思上并不矛盾。B是指(hampers the ability of some children) to make sense of speech, D是指not make sense of speech. 都是否定make sense of speech.

D错是因为：

1.并不是the conversational pace直接使得not make sense of speech,而是通过hampers ... sounds and words.

2.因为将results 和 hampers并列，使得conversational pace导致not make sense of speech(发生在所有人身上？可能！), 而不仅仅在children身上。

3.基于和2同样的原因，导致make sense of speech根本不发生，而不是妨碍(hamper)它的发生。
