4min41s

1. New boarding method was proposed by a person, he was once frustrated by the time-consuming boarding processure and then he develops the new one. He believe this new process will not only save time but also save money.
2. This person believes that two things limit the boarding process: First, people have to wait for others when these people setting luggages. Second, people sit in the middle or near the aisle must stand up for those who sit besides the window. This person wants the new procedure to minimize the first and eliminate the second???
3. Then his processure ==> blahblah.... alternative rows, first let those who sit besides the window to get on board........ Does not quite understand.....
4. Test==> The person tested his method with other methods, for instance a 757 with 12 rows. 3 methods was tested: the traditonal one (people stay in the back board first), random one(previously used by XXX) and the new proposed one. Results shows the first costs 12min, the new costs 6min. GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5. This person believe that the larger the plane, the more benefits. Also, he believes that although airlines do not show intersts in this adoption ,there is no barrier for this adoption. If people find this new method can help them to minimize boarding time, they may want such a change. Also, since boarding at the slot costs 30 per min, airlines have incentives to adopt such new method...... |
