我和40楼的朋友观点一致，A

1、这个be supposed to是一个可有可无的插入语，既然放在这里，是表达一定的感情色彩的，

2、define这个词不对，原文后面只是举例，不是定义，

3、这点最重要，原文说的是在constructivists 眼中determinists的观点

   而B选项是在说，被普遍接受的determinists 的观点，应该是the generally accepted view of position of determinists regarding the implementation of technology

其实关键还是看be supposed to do的意思，from LDOCE:

6 be supposed to do/be something
c) used to say that something is believed to be true by many people, although it might not be true or you might disagree

The castle is supposed to be haunted.

'Dirty Harry' is supposed to be one of Eastwood's best films.

Mrs Carver is supposed to have a lot of money.

拙见，be supposed to do有很重要的感情色彩，这也就是出这道题的原因。同时作者的态度从misrepresent上就看出来了，所以B作为一个和整篇文章作者论调不一致的观点在author...in order to这种题中是不正确的。GMAT想考察的是理解文章的能力和观察作者态度的能力，不是纯粹的细节题。这点和我们亲爱的CET4和CET6是大不相同的。

我认为B，通看全文，作者并没有提出S的观点是错误，Clark也没有说S是错误的。他只是反驳了这个S说法而已。inaccurate有点大了。

 注意题目问的是作者态度题.The constructivists gain acceptance by misrepresenting technological determinism: technological determinists are supposed to believe以及后面的Clark refutes the extremes of the constructivists by both theoretical and empirical arguments.作者支持的是CLARK的观点，既然CLARK都refute,那么作者肯定也是反对constructivists'的观点喽。

由蓝色部分可推出：constructivists' contention is inaccurate。
