请教：GWD-2-12

我觉得应该是C.题目中指出inflation的存在,虽然总体上影响不大,但是有些产品在inflation时涨得厉害这个可能性是存在的.

孩子抚养老人这一点,文章中根本没有提到,所以是一个无关的答案. 勉强解释也通,但是不如C更加relevant.

答案是D. 道理很简单when the number of elderly Runagians  below the poverty level reached an all-time high +  the government increase by 20 percent the government-provided pension，实现了题目中的现状题目中的no better... than：（相同、一样）。哪里那么复杂，把人家children扯进来，还主观臆测会根据情况给与生活补贴，并精准地保证老人们的基本comfortable living不变。

关于E的简单解释:

comfortable living = elder parents 的生活标准 

                   =  government-provided pension + children supplement

children supplement =comfortable living - government-provided pension

pension上升,而supplement根据差额调整而下降.elder 生活标准不变.

got laywer's logic...gotta read the last choice more than twice...really tricky and confusing...supplement implies "a lot"...means that even after the pension increase, the older people could not be able to be finacially better off...they still need their children's support or supplement to reach the comfortable living level...the pension increase just lessen the burden of how much the children are gonna pay for their old parents...virtually, the older do not benefit from such a pension increase at all

不同意E，如果需要我们给出这么多主观条件，绕这么大的弯子考虑这道题，有一点就解释不同，

如果20%的增长超过了孩子们 supplement 的那部分（孩子只需要提供15%），怎么办呢？难道把老人家的钱拿走不成？

感觉是 weaken 选项E的……

D 我觉得更直接，更有说服力。如果说是因为题目没有说明是总量增加20% 还是每个个体增加20%，那我只能说这算不严谨吧？

好象还没定论……
