when i took the gmat last jan. i quitted my job. and now, as i am applying, i don't plan to quit for i need money and the experience to fill my resume. don't you think so
Your guys' discussion enlightens me a lot. To add some weights on the assertion that it is better not to resign before studying abroad, a coleague of mine work till the last minute before pursuing her MBA study in Indiana. She has a balanced life and we did not even notice that she has gone through a long application process. So the conclusion can be that a well-balanced life style and a determined heart will lead to success without resignation.
I am still considering the balance of application and work load and seriously plans to resign 2 weeks ago. Until now, I am still wonderring whether it is a good idea to quit the job and fully emersed into the application. The working experiance is very important for MBA admittion decision and maybe it is a bit difficult to explan the gap.
Maybe the best way is to apply sick leave or no pay leave.
